To touch upon what billlr said, perhaps we can have a longlist and shortlist before deciding a winner? Hopefully this will encourage/reward more writers/writing. And therefore more wanking on my part!

perhaps we can have a longlist and shortlist before deciding a winner?
Then this competition that takes place EACH month will take too long. :-)
Plus: It already is one big long list on which we vote by giving it grades from 1 to 5.

Please keep in mind that it's all a lot of effort I have to do. We like to make this site better for you all. And I like to work for this site. But I also have a real life and in the moment it's damn stressful ;-)

But every input you guys give is more than welcome :-)
