Like every month, I hope that a lot of users will vote and wish all participants good luck!


Rules:
The nominations are the 5 highest rated teases. If two webteases have the same rating, the webtease which have more votes will participate.

If two or more teases have the same amount of votes after the voting period, a second voting will happen. Only the teases with the most votes can participate and the voting time is decreased to two days, to grant the winner's tease as much as possible time on our front page.

Only one tease per author can participate. We'll take only the best rated tease for authors with multiple qualifying teases.

The voting system should be separated from the webtease itself. Hence webteases encouraging a vote for the TOTM to manipulate the system will not be nominated at the end of the month regardless of ranking.

The prize is a special user rank in our forum and a mark in the "Browse Teases" area.

If your tease is nominated, please don't make any changes until the voting period is over, or you risk being disqualified.

If any issues happen that are not clarified by these rules the team of Milovana has the right and the the duty to adjust the rules for finding the best and most fair solution to overcome this issue. There is no way for participants to affect a decision by the team, except the team of Milovana asks for it.

I've got to disagree with this, which I'm assuming is just a poor choice of words. I rate any tease I appreciate at least 3. I would say mid 3s is a perfectly respectable score for a writer, and definitely the type of teases that are appreciated by the community. Maybe other people view the rating system differently, but my feeling is:

Under 2 - really horrible tease that I'd rather not have read
2-3 - significantly subpar tease, but not without some redeeming qualities
3-4 - solid, enjoyable tease, but with some flaws or just lacking the magic touch
4+ - wheeee

Sorry, I was not clear
Most people do vote 3 so getting 4+ ratings is difficult.
I was trying to say that several teases that were rated 3's - I thought were 4's.
I only vote a 1 one a single page tease (there have been a few)
2 is rare - if I found the tease not inspiring
3 most often voted
4- A tease I would add to my fav's and I probably actually did the tease and enjoyed it
or just really appreciated the writing or creativity.

Only the top voted teases get nominated so even a 4+ rating does not mean you will get a nom.
(as was the case for Under Surveliance- day3 with a 4.2 score)

All you have to do is look at some of my teases (especially the early/ first few teases I wrote)
to see that I got average or slightly lower ratings. (My werewolf joke tease is rated 2.2)
(and I recieved 3 negetive forums posts for one of my fav teases - Classic Art Tease)
The only tease That I got TOTM nominated for- was actually NOT my content!
I stated in forums that I got the idea from anouther web site. (that has not updated in a long time)
I write stuff I like. And hope that others will like it too.
Some of the stuff I have written has ben so poorly rated
I dispared. I have not written a new tease, well because of creative block.
I want to write something original, that has not been done- but have not thought of anything yet. (except that brief forum tease)
