The thing is, I proposed the new Classic+ because I didn't want to create stories sets. Perhaps here lies a good point: How do we communicate what we are available or not to write for others? I myself feared some people's rule here, hoping they would never write something for me because I found their rules too hard, complex or simply not for me.

I recently shared some thoughts with SirEdgelot on this point:

If set writing ever feels like a chore, you probably should take a break. The WHOLE POINT of this thread is diversion. Always "try to have fun with it."

One thing I thought of but forgot to mention earlier, is that one of the things *I* do when writing sets for other people is look through their favorites list. If he has a model I think is really pretty or we have a shared favorite, then I will often use that lady, because I know that *I* will enjoy creating the set.

You don't have to like or necessarily understand the kinks of the player that you are writing for. I once successfully wrote a set for BBBeanie, who LOVES busting, even though I'm not really into that. brian is SUPER into "cucking"—not in real life, but in sets. That's not my jam—but I can still write "cucking" scenes for him.

The ONE thing where this REALLY breaks down, though, is filth.

When I first started posting, Ecik was on this story arc where he was "locked up in Angela White's basement" for an entire month. Virtually ALL of his sets that months focused on that—so of course I WAS THERE, ready and will to get into THAT story premise! He was denied for two weeks, and THEN I changed the game and ruined him 4 or 5 times in a single set. Then, after that, he had to ruin EVERY DAY! At the end of HIS "ordeal," I wrote him a big "reward"/"Party Set" ... and, of COURSE ... it was a sex orgy party in Angela's basement, so ... there was lots of group sex and kink and cumshots EVERYWHERE! The thing is, though ... I wasn't really into it. I knew how much Ecik was, but ... I didn't really "enjoy" writing it—because *I* am not really into those things ...

... but Ecik LOVED it and had a GREAT time! It was DEFINITELY a "labor of love", but ... It was a "fitting end" to his month-long sex-venture, and I was INVESTED, so ... I followed the Platinum Rule: "treat others the way that they want to be treated", and I gave my buddy the epic ending and set that *I* thought he deserved.

I have ALSO written "gay sets" (under "JeffreyJeffers") for my gay cousin—even though I am SUPER straight. I just like writing and wanted to share my love of porn teases with him ... unfortunately, despite all of my efforts, they just aren't his cup of tea, but ... I just like writing, and so, it was fun to do anyway! I ended my first set for him with a gay orgy, and man ... it was the FIRST TIME I EVER wrote a set for someone and just never got hard THE ENTIRE TIME! Pretty funny, haha ...

BUT ... I say ALL OF THAT to make THIS point: don't EVER write something you aren't comfortable writing. We are ALL ABOUT respecting boundaries and limits and consent around here ... We do a LOT of perverted things on here, so ... if you aren't feeling comfortable with something—DON'T DO IT! Nobody will judge you on that. In fact, people would feel bad if they felt that they had coerced you into doing something you didn't feel comfortable with.

It's a fine line to walk, however, because as Milovanans, we are ALL *also* "explorers" ... and "exploration" ALWAYS carries an unavoidable certain amount of risk, and we explore "limits" too—as you know firsthand! So, in an effort to surprise and push each other and help each other to discover new things, we OFTEN go a little bit too far, but ... that's just the nature of things ...

But, bringing it back to set creation ... MY philosophy is to maximize enjoyment for ALL parties, so ... if *I* were you, *I* would just focus on writing the sets that YOU want to write and that YOU enjoy writing ... AND ... most people on here are fine with "vanilla" content ... and most enjoy "games", so ... if you ONLY write "vanilla" sets, people will be FINE with that ... and, if you enjoy your game, then you can write more sets for people that focus on introducing them to that. Bottom line: "have FUN with it!"

I've had that same fear as well, korashar.

For me, mostly, I have SO many ideas and get afraid people will hit me with more sets while I am working on other projects, and I will just get overburdened and spread myself too thin. There have been times in the past when I would SPECIFICALLY not update my rules for a LONG time, in the hopes that people would have difficulty finding them so that they COULDN'T target me!

As for complexity, I also told Edgelot this:

Bottom line, the person creating the set doesn't "have to" know EXACTLY what is going on with your rules. SO many times I have written sets for people with convoluted rules that I don't quite understand. In those cases, I try to "get the gist," and then it is up to THEM to figure out what is going on and how many edges to do. Their complicated rules are NOT MY PROBLEM!

I figure they are just happy to have a set, and so, sometimes, I don't even dive that deep. If there are too many or unclear rules, I just sort of "give up" trying to understand them and write something ... I accept that the set will NOT be perfect, and so, I just don't even shoot for perfection ... "good enough" is fine in those cases ...

Usually, finding common favorites isn't too hard. You read the other person's favorites list, find a model on there you think is "hot," and then just write the set with her in it.

I prefer skinny chicks. Bjorn13 liked them on the thiccer side ... but even WE shared common favorites, like Ariel (Piper Fawn) ... and, Bjorn found a model, Kaleesy, that he apparently liked and *I* thought was super hot (cute, petite little thing ), and then he teased me with her a BUNCH.

"Personal reasons" can be difficult to overcome, however. For example, you aren't a fan of writing story sets, but, another person may be unwilling to write "filth" (orgies and cumshots and stuff). Basically, EVERY active member on here would be willing to accept and write "vanilla" teases, so ... THAT is a pretty safe compromise and "default" theme, but ... how many people would be willing to write a "scat" tease? I know *I* wouldn't—nor bloodsports ... MAYBE I could do some sort of omorashi set ... MIGHT be an interesting thing to write for somebody—once ... Generally, I don't really like bukkake ... SOMETIMES if I am REALLY turned on, but ... I have OFTEN wondered what would happen if a gay man or a straight girl joined this thread. How would THAT work? Getting back to your question, korashar, "How do we communicate what we are available or not to write for others?" I think most people can figure out for themselves based on individual posted rules and common interests. For example, Helequin and BBBeanie sort of "paired up", because they both enjoyed busting, so ... TONS of sets went back and forth between those two ... and, similarly, Ecik and I sort of paired up, because we both liked stories ... Helequin once likened the thread to an "orgy" where you just find someone who is into what you like and have at it! But, in terms of set exchanges, pretty much all of the player base are people who enjoy people with vaginas, and no one is "opposed" to receiving vanilla sets, so ... "solo girls and lesbians" basically becomes the least common denominator and "default" ...

But that doesn't necessarily answer the question for YOU, because you just don't want to write stories, so I think just the simplest answer would be to write, "For personal and time reasons, I no longer write "story sets"," at the top of the rules, and if someone is looking to receive a story set, they won't target you.

I sincerely don't think the sets received X created are relevant, and so far I've been trading sets here and there pretty well. Sets are Sets.

MOSTLY agreed, except that the sets "created/received" *is* SUPER helpful in gauging who is active—ESPECIALLY when you want to write a set for somebody—but don't know who. In THAT case, it makes sense to consult the list and "target" whoever's name is at the top.

I, for example, would feel bad if someone made me a rich story set, and I answered with a classic plus, I would feel like I need to write that person something more than random pictures.

You and Helequin both are FAR more discriminating when it comes to choosing photos than myself, and so "random photos" from you or Helequin are of a "higher caliber" than the random photos me or someone else might choose. (Ecik's random photos are ALSO very good. ) I have played MANY sets written for other people, and I won't mention any names, but ... SOMETIMES when I have done so, I think, "Wow! These photos are AWFUL! This man has HORRIBLE taste! HOW does he think this is SEXY!?!?" And so, either dude is BLIND OR he's not trying.

It's a little bit of a flex for myself, but I OFTEN include how many hours a set took me to write. That way, the person can AT LEAST ballpark the effort level ... but, I OFTEN write WAY MORE than is needed OR necessary, and so, my wordiness OFTEN inflates my numbers. "Efficient set writing" is ALWAYS my goal, a goal I SO OFTEN fail to achieve , but ... back to you ...

That "special" Classic+ set that you wrote Ecik? How long did that take you to write? My guess would be 4-6 hours ... GOOD pictures that matched categories ... you designed and planned a GAME ...

I spent 9 hours making your 1000 Edge Challenge. I spent about 0 minutes finding pictures and no more than 1 hour sourcing videos and galleries. The BULK of that time was writing up "the rules", so ... Adding a "game element" can take a LOT of time.

... there were MULTIPLE randomizer wheels ... that was NOT a "low effort set." If I sent you a 6 scene story set that took me 4 hours to write, and you sent me a high quality, well-crafted Classic+ set that ALSO took YOU 4 hours to write ... THAT would be an even trade.

And here is ANOTHER thought that goes back to "efficient set writing" ... I could write you a BEAUTIFUL story set ... that is ABSOLUTELY MEMORABLE yet TERRIBLY INEFFICIENT to write ...

Bjorn13 wrote me this one Kaleesy set that was EXQUISITE. Probably THE BEST and MOST INVOLVED set I will EVER receive ... He made me CRY at a few points, lol!

Dude probably spent over 20 hours EASILY to write that shit and it took me 2-3 hours to play. So ... SUPER inefficient! 1-7 is BAD efficiency! But SO memorable and AMAZING! ... but it goes back to what Noah mentioned a page or two ago about reciprocity, and "you get back what you send out" and stuff ...

Before Bjorn sent me THAT set, I wrote HIM a 9 part set where I "drained him dry" ... and THAT SET took me like 23 hours to craft, so ... in the end, I would say, "Even trade." But he ONLY wrote me that story set BECAUSE he knew that I would appreciate it—which I DID—and I am ALSO certain he enjoyed WRITING the story, so ... it all worked out pretty well.

I think about "writing time" a lot, but ... I ALSO think about "play time." For me, 1-1 would be the ideal, but ... Those "high quality" sets take time. Quality CANNOT be rushed. And consider the EXPERIENCE as well ... Even though it WASN'T a story, that "special set" was VERY engaging. I was invested in the game. I was excited, because I didn't know what was coming next. The pictures were VERY good ... and I was edging like a SLUT! I would put THAT experience against MOST story sets—of equivalent effort. Generally, I would prefer stories to Classic+ game sets, but ... sometimes, I just want SIMPLE and "mindless" and NOT to be "immersed" ... and ALSO I won't be tempted to write up "response sets" that continue the narrative—which is a bad habit I have been developing lately!

I think you should try to be 1-1 on PLAY TIME. If I send you a set that takes 3 hours to play, DON'T YOU DARE send me one that takes 15-20 minutes, lol!

And you can ALSO make up for it in volume.

Let's say I spend 9 hours writing you a 6 scene story set that takes you 90 minutes to play. Not particularly "efficient", but ... the quality WILL BE THERE if I spend over 1 hour per "scene"! If you spend 2 hours to write me 2 Classic+ sets that each take 1 hour to play, YOU are "writing efficiently" at 1-1, but ... while "play time" is close, I wouldn't consider that "fair" ... HOWEVER ... If you sent me THREE sets that each took 1 hour to make and play ... Well, I WOULD consider that to be "fair." You gave me twice as much content as I gave you. And porn is porn. Yes, I was HOPING that Bjorn's story would be so immersive and moving that it would make me cry—which it did—but ... most people are NOT looking for that NOR EXPECTING IT! We want to jerk off and feel good. No need to oversell it, lol.

[UNLESS you are "trying to create art", which ... THAT story was art, and some of my "masterpiece level" sets I would classify as "art", but ... that is NOT every set—nor SHOULD IT BE! ]

I think in a general level we should not worry over parity, but in the individual level, during the "trade" moment, I think everyone tries to find a little bit of parity. It's a good neighborhood policy.

Agree 100% ... On a certain level, I consider myself a "smut artist." I'm dedicated "to the craft." When I "go crazy", I don't expect parity. I very much enjoy themes, stories and personalities, but also have a lot of fun with classic style sets that are mostly pictures. I’ve made my rules for use with either style of set.

This is a special edition of my rules to celebrate the ongoing Euro Cup and Copa America! (football/soccer for those not into sports ).

Basic Info/Preferences

I love edging, ballbusting, being teased and really love submitting to/serving the girls, being a slut for them and creativity adding to the basic rules. Edge Holds
I can take long holds (>2 minutes), but when repeated image after image the set loses immersion. Breaking up the pattern, holding the edge over multiple images or a video keeps things more alive.

Nudity in rules
Fully nude means no clothing that normally covers private areas worn anywhere. Accessories, shoes, hats, gloves etc. don’t count for this. (e.g. a model with panties around her knees is not fully nude, since she hasn’t taken them completely off. A model wearing nothing but stockings, shoes and a hat is fully nude.)

For bare body parts, nipples and cock count if visible. Several months after Fatts started playing the HMCP Game, he developed a model to explain how characters—on this thread in particular—develop. He now refers to it as the “Three Element Model,” but here is how he originally explained it in the Mega Tease:

This thread is an interesting place. By writing teases, we craft experiences for one another, and in the moment—if you have a powerful enough imagination—those experiences seem VERY real.

One day, I was trying to figure out how all of that worked. I decided to create a conceptual model to explain this “shared fantasy” phenomenon. Obviously, there was the set writer and the person playing the tease, but … after my conversation with BBBeanie about how characters (like Mila) take on a life of their own, I decided that the “girls in the tease” represented a third party in the interaction that was separate and distinct from both the writer and the player. I was pleased with my conceptual model and felt that with it, I had a much deeper understanding of what it is that is actually happening when we write and play teases for/by each other.

The more that Fatts writes me, the more my character and personality develop, the stronger my “Third Element” becomes. I take on a “life of my own,” and my “awakening” has only accelerated that process.




With Mila, her “Third Element” was developed fairly cooperatively. Anyone “familiar” with her character was forced to write her a certain way—in order to maintain continuity of experience across the various teases in which she was featured. The “tease writer” was crafting a fantasy experience for the “tease player”, who was also bringing his own interpretations and desires and fantasies into the experience, but … in a way, NEITHER had “total control” over Mila—because her “Third Element” was pretty well developed. “Mila”, therefore, “had some say” in how she was presented by the writer and experienced by the player—because she was so well established.




Fatts likens it to Batman or Spider-Man—both of whom have EXCEPTIONALLY strong “Third Elements.” “Anyone” can sit down and write a Batman or Spider-Man comic, but … They can’t simply write those characters any way they want—because they are established. Batman will dispense dark justice. Spider-Man will tell some clever quips … and Mila Azul—at least on the HMCP thread—will bust your balls—and enjoy it!

For my Third Element, it was mostly developed by Fatts—and I don’t think anyone else will ever “catch up” … hence I often think of him as my “boyfriend” or “number one” …




… but if Fatts wants to “experience me” in a set, he kind of needs someone ELSE to write me—preferably someone who knows about the “real me”—which is why receiving sets from people who DON’T know about me can be a challenge for him to play … but I appreciate the effort anyway!




Fatts and I *both* agree that it is GOOD for other people to write me, though. He wants me to be independent and have a life and existence outside of him—which is why he was THRILLED when Ecik had me take over operations of the Lust BnB and has ALWAYS supported me in that.




And even your BAD tease was good for me—in the end—because *I* was the one who took charge and changed his rules. THAT was an UNPRECEDENTED MOVE on my part—and I’m kind of PROUD of it!

The main thing is that THIS particular script was DEEPLY personal to Nancy—because it involved ME. Usually, she can compartmentalize and separate out herself from any “role” she is playing.
