So, what happened is, I have been trying to NOT get involved in overinvolved plot lines, so, mostly, I have been playing EOS webteases ... and I thought Ecik's set for you would be safe ... ALSO I was curious to see how your rules worked firsthand ...

Well, it turns out my muse booby-trapped Ecik's set for you, because I ended up playing it and got SUPER "inspired" to write THIS set for you, as well as some sort of mini-set for Ecik—we'll see when THAT comes out ...

As I said, the set was great. It was however a tad short. Maybe that had something to do with the triggers, but when I played this game alone before I usually gathered more pictures. Trust me, I can take it

We are going to test that, today—or whenever you DO play this set!

Sets on this thread are custom-made—which I keep saying. As such, knowing a person's rules, we can tailor the length to their preferences and stamina level. You didn't put any edge limits, so ... I just went ahead and wrote this assuming that you don't have any—based on the above quote!

Okay, so ... what *is* this set EXACTLY—I'm sure you are wondering ...

It starts off with Emily Bloom—a mutual favorite of ours. Emily is going to play your game with you. That's the set.

The first scene is an "intro scene" with Emily. She is going to provide background, context, and rules while teasing you. Your rules are "just your game", so ... I just followed Ecik's lead and went with "20 strokes per pic." If you want to increase or decrease your base strokes per pic—that's fine. If you just want to "free stroke" while you are not "playing your game"—that's fine, too ... BUT ... if Emily instructs you to do something explicitly, do what she says.

Good dialogue takes a while to write, so ... if you just "free stroke" through everything and "speed run" it, you'll end up blowing through stuff FAST—like in 5-10 minutes—when it took HOURS to write, so ... USUALLY people do a certain number of strokes/edges per pic [via their rules], and that helps to "pad out the time" and helps to put "set creation time" more on par with "set playing time" ... ALTHOUGH ... it MUST be said that playing a random EOS webtease for a "general audience" is one thing; playing a CUSTOM set made to YOUR preferences that involves choices and decisions YOU ACTUALLY MADE ... it takes "immersion" and "engagement" to a WHOLE other level—as I *hope* you are about to see! Let me know in the feedback.

Okay, so ... you have "Emily's intro", "the gallery"—which contains pictures for your game ... and THEN—in post 2 of 2—you have the "Rounds." After the intro, you'll "look through" and "set up" your gallery, and THEN you'll open the spoiler for "Round 1." Emily will be feeding you your elimination triggers one at a time, so ... within the spoiler you'll get it, and, once you reach the end of the section, you'll go back to "playing your game." Finish the round. Open the next spoiler. Rinse and repeat.

THIS tease will be SIGNIFICANTLY longer than Ecik's "Welcome to the thread" tease.

Now, I know that you are "okay" with denial—because sometimes your game ends in denial. I have NO idea what your edge limits are—with this set we might find out! Also, I have NO idea how "fast" you are at edging—like if you fast edge sometimes with 5 second breaks or you take 30-60 second breaks after EVERY edge—I have NO idea ... but, all I know is that this set will be LONG. I would budget at LEAST three hours for it ... I can't imagine you'll finish it sooner than that, but you could DEFINITELY surprise me! Also, if you edge slowly, it could take you 8 hours or more—as I just have NO idea or baseline!

If for some reason you CANNOT finish the set in one sitting, I recommend breaking it up across multiple sessions. Find a natural break—like the end of a round—deny yourself, and come back later in the day or the next day once you've rested up ... BUT ... I would recommend NOT cumming in between sessions once you start the set. And Emily may or may not give you a full orgasm at the end. I guess THAT depends on YOU and how the game goes!

Because I crafted this set around your "game," it's kind of irregular. There is a lot of comments and "story" and discussion from "Emily" about your game and some of its various aspects. Thought it would be more fun for "Emily" to tell you my thoughts and reaction to it in a tease than lengthy feedback. Having commentary "between rounds" I am sure will be different for you, but ... let me know how you like it. I had a LOT I wanted to respond to and say about your rules and game with this one, but ... moving forward ... making sets for you would be SUPER easy if you left out all of the "story" and "writing" stuff ... I would say that your rules are more akin to the level of effort needed for Classic+ sets than standard "story" sets, which ... that is FINE ... BUT ... I suppose I have written you a more "Standard story set", just in the context of your game, but ... the ONE exception is that there ARE some GIANT WALLS OF TEXT, so ... just be prepared for that! Not EVERY Round has them, but ... a few do—when Emily is adding rules and such, so ... the walls of text are pretty unconventional, but ... PROBABLY they will ALSO serve as a decent break from the edging, and, again, I wove my commentary into a sort of narrative arc that fits—hopefully—well within the game.

You seemed to be warming up to more immersive, role-playing type sets, so ... HOPEFULLY I have crafted a good experience where you ACTUALLY FEEL like you are playing your game with someone else and NOT by yourself. so ... let me know in your feedback how I did. Have fun, and good luck!

Of course, your game wasn’t actually that hard to learn how to play! It just takes a lot to explain—which is true of EVERY game. Even a simple game like Risk or Monopoly has rules that go on for pages and pages, but … once you take the time to read them and play through it once or twice, it isn’t bad, lol!

Anyway, while you were off playing the game the casino employee worked up for you, Nancy had her boyfriend Fatts play it too—the same set with the same rules. I got to watch, of course. What can I say? Now, one of the things about this particular forum game, HMC, is that us girls frequently change up the rules that you boys post. It’s good for variety and surprises and just new ideas and stuff … So, anyway, we are going to do that now. We’re going to implement a new experimental rule just to see how it works. Emily should be pretty clear in her instructions, but, the gallery is the set of pictures which you will then eliminate with triggers. Usually, you choose your own "game gallery" when you play your game. In this case, Emily has selected the gallery for you. Then, based on the triggers you get, you will play your game and eliminate pics from Emily's pre-selected "game gallery." And Emily will randomly draw your triggers one at a time.

THIS is the part that made me afraid! The longest I ever spent stroking and edging I think was around 2-3 hours split up upon multiple smaller sessions throughout the day without cumming in between.

Edging stamina on this thread varies WILDLY.

"A History of Classic+ Sets," as told by FattsDynamo ...

So, I messaged korashar asking for assistance with a large, multi-day set I was working on for brian. He gave me some great ideas and feedback, but, he ultimately declined for two reasons: 1) He wasn't super into writing/receiving the narrative/story-based teases people usually exchange on this thread (which was a surprise to me considering how good of a writer he is); 2) He was getting pretty busy with life and kind of getting burned out on all of the set creation. He told me he sometimes would take 12-14 hours to write a single set, which ... *I* get that. Some of my longest sets are over 20 hours to craft, with 8 hours probably being close to my "average length." I USUALLY try to shoot for 2-4 hours, but ... inevitably, I get caught up in story and project creep, and they OFTEN balloon —a common experience for set writers on here, I am SURE! Considering the quality of korashar's sets, I was not AT ALL surprised to hear that he was spending that much time crafting sets, which ... I was sad he was spending SO MUCH TIME working on sets he wasn't super into writing/playing. So, I encouraged him, if he ever DID write me a set, to keep it simple and LOW effort—and I would do the same.

Then, a day or two later, korashar posted his idea for a new archetype of HMCP set—the "Classic+". Then, the next day, Drool answered the call and wrote him the first "Classic+" set. A new genre of set was born!

Within the next month or so, others started follow suite and added extra sections to their rules to explain how they handle "Classic+" sets. I would recommend taking a look at korashar's rules, Ecik17's rules, and FattsDynamo's rules for good examples.

Read korashar's post to see his initial vision, but ... the basic idea is that "story sets" are often very involved and take a LONG time to write. Then, it also makes reciprocity difficult. If I spend 5 hours making you a well-crafted story set, but you just send me back 30 pictures—that is NOT a fair trade , so ... This gives people an option to still play and exchange sets and be involved without having to commit a bunch of time to set writing or having to get pulled into complex story lines ("no need for sequence or continuity" -korashar) ... and sometimes people don't *want* that or aren't in the mood for something involved and story-heavy ... It sort of fills a need that wasn't really being addressed before, so ... now you can send a simple set and expect to get a simple set in return. I suppose in a way we were already doing that informally before, but ... now we have an official "label" and game mechanic for that.

So, a "Classic Set" would just be a set of pictures and NOTHING else ... However, as the thread has evolved and developed over the years, the trend has tended towards more immersive, character- and narrative-driven sets—which are OFTEN more engaging to play (for most people ), but also WAY more time-intensive to write. BUT ... I think most of us have become "spoiled." There are SO many great Classic and EOS webteases now ... JUST a set of random pictures without ANY context—or anything "extra"—I don't think that people actually want that ... which is where the "plus" in "Classic+" comes in!

If you add something to a "Classic" set that makes it more than just a collection of random images, then it becomes a "Classic+" set.

As self-appointed "thread historian" , I am going to be so bold as to define what it is—since I have studied this phenomenon from the start.

"Triggers" are something which are added to "Classic+" sets that add something "extra" to the experience.

Typically, the most common trigger is the "edging" trigger. When you see a certain image that fulfills a certain condition/category—give it an extra edge. "Busting" triggers are also common. These "enhance" the experience and set by providing something "extra" that goes beyond "just a set of random pictures."

In his original vision, I believe, korashar was brainstorming ideas that fit to his preferences. He wanted to edge a lot and he likes videos (and he LOVES stroking for random categories ), so, he added "edge triggers" and a "video ending" to his initial request for a "Classic+" set. I haven't looked at or played too many "Classic+" sets yet, but I *did* play through most of this one that korashar wrote for Ecik (which was VERY good, and Iused my rules), and this other set korashar wrote for Ecik seems to me to be another "exemplar", though BOTH seem to "go beyond" what is required for a BASIC "Classic+" set.

But, edge triggers and "video ending" I don't think have to be the ONLY things which define the genre! PoetBird put this set together—which was VERY nice—and there was NO video ending—but—I would STILL define it as a "Classic+" set—in my official capacity as "Acting Thread Historian!"

I think the MAIN ELEMENT of a "Classic+" set is that it is majority pictures WITHOUT accompanying text—but there is something "extra" about it. While "edge triggers" appear to be a staple of the genre—I don't believe they "define it." Any "Classic Set" (only pictures), where you add SOMETHING to it ... it then becomes "Classic+".

I liked PoetBird's example, because it was MOSTLY all just pictures, but ... He made a LITTLE bit of a story—connected the pictures with a premise—and made a game out of it—with instructions on how to cum at the end. I *would* say that cum instructions ARE a mandatory aspect—because the player should know how to end the tease. "Cum during the video" or "cum at the end of the video," or "full orgasm if you win the game and denied if you lose" ... "Classic" sets which are ONLY a set of pictures lack the finality of a defined ending ... which is why, personally, they always leave me wanting something ... more! With Classic+, it solves that problem and gives people what they are used to from teases—something more than just a collection of random pictures ...

PERSONALLY, I wouldn't mind it if one of my Classic+ sets ended with a single, normal teasing scene ... but at the VERY least, a video ending is fine, OR an edge ladder or SOMETHING ... I just want the "cum command" and final cum pic to be hidden in a spoiler with a little ending or SOME KIND of indication that the set is ending ... but that is what *I* want out of a Classic+ set. korashar wants some triggers and a video ending. Ecik wants a video ending or "task", so ... it seems like at least PART of the "plus" in "Classic+" is SOME KIND of definite ending—and I think that should be left open to interpretation and can be clarified in individual rules ... but, yeah ... there you go! FAR MORE than what you asked for, but ... these Classic+ sets have been on my radar, so ... now that you are back, probably a good time to formally discuss/codify them—because it ALL HAPPENED PRETTY ORGANICALLY—and FAST, LOL! I had that convo with korashar, and then like 2 weeks later, Classic+ sets were FLYING back and forth! DEFINITELY something we need to keep going forward—for all of the MANY reasons I have already outlined!

Good technical writing takes TIME to write—I should know. Consider the OP to be a "multi-author" document. Just copy/paste me in WHEREVER you think it would help. OBVIOUSLY, I tend VERY MUCH to be "wordy" and "overexplain things" ... THAT said, I am VERY "thorough" and my explanations are fairly well written! ANYTHING I can do to help you and save time ... man, just copy/paste WHATEVER and it's ALL GOOD! I LITERALLY spent HOURS writing those responses, so ... why reinvent the wheel? Take ANYTHING I wrote and include it. The more people that can benefit from my work, the better I will fill about having sunk ALL OF THOSE HOURS into explaining things!

ALL of this post took a WHILE to write, and ... I'm pretty spend and need to take a short break, but ... I THINK I basically got EVERYTHING I wanted to share, so ... welcome back, man! We were managing without you, but ... now that "the captain" is back ... just wanted to give you the FULL update so that you KNOW what is going on in YOUR game—the one that YOU started and managed for YEARS!
