... know about the
buy-in. Unfortunatly I'm not really into roleyplay or anything, so forgive me for not contributing a set to the game for other players as of now.
People come on here all the time and post rules. That's nice ... but we won't know if you are "serious" or not
until you post a set, so ...
just assume that NO ONE will create a set for you UNTIL AFTER you first create a set for someone else
...
Your chances of receiving a set right now—
without first posting one for someone else—are pretty close to zero, BUT ... If you post a set for someone else, then I would say your chances of receiving a set back are pretty close to 100%

... Now, sometimes people are busy or go inactive ... My first "buy-in" set back (after a long hiatus) was to Horny_Chabo, and it was a couple weeks before he played it and wrote a return set ... My second set was to 2O23, who has been inactive and not written me back yet, so ... you *may* not get an immediate response, but ... don't give up. You may have to write a few sets before you get a response depending on who you target, but ... if you are sending sets out, then people will want to "hit you back"—ESPECIALLY if you "hit them first" with a quality set.
I'm rather honest in telling that I felt like just gathering a bunch of pictures without context would fall short of what other people were able to create for each other in the last few pages of reading this thread.
Don't feel bad about that and thank you for being honest. korashar isn't super into story sets either ... He writes them because they are "the norm" and popular on here, but ... they aren't his passion ... which is why he started this recent "Classic+ Set" archetype that is a return to what this thread *used* to be. And while many people on here
prefer a bit of narrative in their teases, if you have read many people's rules OFTEN people will mention that is NOT REQUIRED.

But,
people will return the effort you send their way. If you just send a bunch of random pictures, you'll get the same level of quality back. However, if you read rules and are thoughtful in your choices and try to combo rules or pick models and categories that the person likes ... then you can make a great set WITHOUT the use of any story ... and LOTS of people on here would be fine with that.
I prefer "stories," but ... I recently added a whole "Classic+" section to my rules to better accommodate tease writers who aren't into storytelling, but ... I'm busy at the moment, so ... DON'T HIT ME RIGHT NOW!

I' still have 3 Classic+ sets to play and Classic+ to make for Ecik and Drool. Will do all of this also!
If you are already making me a set for some reason, don't worry, I'll play this and try to make you one in return. But if you did not start it already, I would appreciate it if you left it for another time.
korashar is getting out, so ... Don't hit him ...

Noah is an EXPERT tease writer. Read his rules. This thread does CUSTOM TEASES, so ... put some effort into creating a set he might enjoy, and I think there is a pretty good chance he will hit you back with something ... Can't guarantee, but ... well, you can read that quote.

PoetBird recently became active again. He might be a good target. Look at his last everyone set. It wasn't an elaborate story with immersive roleplaying dialogue throughout, but ... There was a theme. The first "scene" set the premise. You don't have to be some expert story writer, but ... just a
little bit of premise to set that context—that can be good ... and there was a nice "game" element to the set with picking favorites ... but it was MOSTLY just pictures—which is
fine ... but the "theme" was nice and added a LOT!

And at some point when I have time, I'll probably play through that set

... and I am HUGELY into stories!

But, I would say that it is a great example of something simple that is effective—so much so that *I* want to play it even though I am REALLY into story sets

... but, read through someone's rules and DON'T just send them random pictures.

Find stuff that aligns with their preferences and combo a few rules together to make them edge/stroke a LOT!
milorrabo wrote: Thu May 23, 2024 12:36 amAlso, I prefer a Set where the girls talk and "interact" with me, rather than a bunch of images without any text.
milorrabo is currently active, but ... based on this, probably he's not a good target for you ...
MrEdger just recently returned. His sets are usually mostly pictures. An elaborate story with text for every picture is probably not necessary for him, because if I recall correctly, that is not typically the kind of set he writes ... HOWEVER, just write like a paragraph or two for some sort of story/premise. Spread it out over the entire set ... like, he said the HMC police were after him, so ... keep it simple, something like: (Don't read this, MrEdger in case SirEdgelot uses it)
- Spoiler: show
-
You enjoy your freedom by taking a walk in the park ... (10-20 pics of "girls in the park")
The police try to apprehend you for missing your parole meeting (20-30 pictures of police ladies)
You hide out at the [beach, strip club, spa, hotel] ... (10-30 of each)
A girl pulls you into her apartment.
"I will hide you from the police if you double/triple your edging rules for me" (20-40 pics, make this one of his "favorite girls")
And there you go! SIMPLE story ... was like 1 paragraph of writing, but ... he would probably REALLY like that ...
Yes, you can send "only picture" sets to people—and read rules, as some people are fine with that

... but NO ONE will be "fine" with random pictures ... Again, we make CUSTOM SETS on here.

AT THE VERY LEAST read their rules and put together something that utilizes their rules and has pictures they like ... or how else can you expect other people to read YOUR rules and hit you back?
And "I don't like role playing" is fine, but ... if I were you, open yourself up to writing like 1-2 paragraphs of story ... and it doesn't have to be elaborate, and it doesn't even have to be GOOD, but ... even just a LITTLE BIT will go a LONG WAY ... and feel free to just straight up steal and copy/paste what I wrote for MrEdger.

Like ... just follow that script, find the themed pictures, put it in some spoilers—and it's a set ... and it's literally just 5 sentences, which ... I don't think that is a lot ... but ... I think you will need AT LEAST THAT MUCH story OR some themed pics/pics that take advantage of preferences/rules ... and your rules have a LOT to them, so ... show the amount of effort you want others to put in for you, and I am optimistic the effort will be reciprocated.
Also, this post contains a link to Zerg's template which makes set creation VERY easy.

I hope that helps, and I hope you post a set or two soon for someone who is NOT me!

(Because I'm BUSY atm.
