Going to focus this mainly on the switch stuff, but in general Nancy made for a super sexy intro. Teasing Sub Mode has a lot of promise I think, if maybe not for full player dom/girl sub scenarios then for switchy back and forth or teasing bratty sort of fun. The one issue my rules run into is they are on their own quite intense, so I don’t have much desire to do anything extra past what my rules require. I’m not really enticed by ‘ooooh that ass is sexy I’ll edge even more for it,’ because I’m already being edged senseless.

That is though, more a thing with my rules. Something like putting me into stroking mode might help this a lot, since then I’m not being forced to the edge, but still forcibly teased in some form and I might just choose to take a little more or have less control and hit the edge more easily if she is being particularly sexy. Actually, that’s probably good guidance for this mode in general. It will probably work to its best when the rules allow the girl to entice more out of the player dom, rather than force it through rules. This is probably one of the reasons I’ve not made an earnest effort to write a set for a player dom. For me, the dominance or control aspect of D/S is fairly cerebral. It’s having control of that person, less so mechanical control of what I make her do to my cock. The choose the next option mode works well for the mechanical part, less so for personal interaction.

Again, my rules probably don’t help here. I was teased and edged so much by this point, that I was happy for a little break off the edge, so I was mostly reading and imagining. I still think a good option for switches is a sort of limited dominance. Have one woman as domme set the rules and scenario, and another as sub who has to answer to both the domme and the player. Now there is a reason why the player’s control and freedom are restricted, and the writer can focus on elaborating in this smaller space to make it more convincing.

Likewise, teasing sub mode has some great potential. It doesn’t necessarily have to use the player’s normal rules either. It could have a specific set of rules for each set or scene that fit what is actually happening. It could be combined with my above idea to really narrow the focus to one sexy, dominant scenario. Maybe the Domme needs you to wear out a submissive, over eager slut who only responds if she can be overwhelmed with cock – which means you get to step in and dom her but also have to have the endurance to hold out.

Then again, maybe that’s an entirely different dom mode yet. Give the player as much choice as you can for what to do and free them from their usual rules, but what they choose to do as dom comes with rules of its own. If the player wants to bend the girl over and fuck her, then they have to replicate that with stroking or a fleshlight, likely knowing that if they lose control without domme’s permission they are in trouble. Maybe if the players wants to make the sub cum they have to be able to fuck her at a certain speed or for a certain length of time. Maybe to make her edge over and over there’s a pattern to follow.

I think that might be it, total freeform feels a like reading a story because there’s no real response to feel from the girl. But in handling a real sub there is feedback, pacing and so on.

So to end I still don’t think we’ll ever be able to really do justice to the sense of total, free control the dominant role has in a personal sense, at least not as a pre-done set short of programming something extensive. However, I do think we can provide some very fun, interesting and even convincing dominant scenarios by offering a plausible reason why the scope of control is limited, then giving physical sensation to the events through special rules to fit the scene.

Yeah, Ecik said pretty much the same thing. It is BY FAR the easiest to add, as it does not require any new mechanics or requirements. The main thing, I think, is that it changes the tone/dynamic of the scene from "pure domme" to that back-and-forth ... And this can be something that each player can figure out for themself. The spirit is, the player is the "dom" and is in control, and the girl is the "sub" trying to seduce her master. For me, I'd like to try it some more ... GoodGirl's last set for me included a dom mode and a teasing sub scene. Both worked well for me. However, the dom mode wasn't over Caprice ... But, the detail isn't necessary for everyone, I don't think ... like, for me, if I am VERY immersed with my active imagination, I can "narrate the action in my head," and if I'm doing that, I don't NEED crazy branching with "detailed responses" describing how the girl reacts with every photo ... If I can imagine that in my head, then the writer doesn't *need* to take the time to write something for every line ... Like, the branching itself isn't super hard ... setting up a few spoilers ... grouping a few pictures by position/"chronological order" ... that's not bad ... it's NARRATING THE ACTION that takes time ... you have to stop and think for EVERY photo ...

I think when I publish the official test set, I'll do one scene where EVERY photo has text, and one where there are like only five lines of text ... see how that works for people ...

I've thought of this and tried it a bit with my last Caprice set to GoodGirl. He's a sub, so, that part didn't work out so well (which wasn't surprising ...
