Sorry, there's a lot to break down in that set with everything you tried and I wasn't sure if you wanted me to break it down scene by scene or if that would feel like I was critiquing your masterpiece too much.

I like to write ... a LOT! Not everybody does, and I get that, so ... I figured you wrote what you did soon after that LONG ass set, lol, and you were tired, and ... I figured you wanted to get your feedback out ... and it was enough. Of course, for me, I'm a writer, and I want to become a BETTER writer, so ... when I spend THAT much time and effort on a project ... the post-set analysis is "part of the fun" for me, so ... I like looking back and critiquing, so ... thanks for humoring me and leaving SO much feedback! LOVE it!

Lots of people get sensitive about their writing and get their feelings hurt easy ... I simultaneously know my stuff is GOOD and have the confidence to NOT let criticism get me down while at the SAME time, I know it's not perfect, so ... I am NOT overly sensitive and also HUNGRY to learn and make it better, so ... constructive criticism will ALWAYS win points with me, and ... I look around on this thread, and I don't see any assholes--just caring, sensitive people of good faith such as myself, so ... This is a GOOD place for criticism, IMO ...

I say, "masterpiece" because of the level of quality and time was like triple what I would do for a "normal" set, so ... it's just on another level. Honestly, I'm just publishing here, and not submitting to any REAL place that has an editor ... I would be even MORE demanding on myself if that were the case, so ... my use of "masterpiece," here, is more a RELATIVE and not "absolute" connotation ... Ultimately, only the recipient can say if I created a "masterpiece" or not ... it was "masterpiece level effort" but ... You have to take some risks and make some guesses and assumptions, and ... depending how all of that pans out for the player will determine whether or not I hit a home run ...

So the first scene with Sofi stripping I think it very easily could've felt uncomfortable for me with her being forced to do that and not actually want to which is a major turn off for me

See, that's REALLY good to know ... I think that's probably because you are a "sub," so, domination like that is a turn off for you in a way that it might be a bonus for others, but ... also maybe you are just a good person who prefers consent!

Yeah, that was just kind of fun and played well and flowed from the circumstances of the story ... because Sofi is a mistress at heart but a sub here through bad choices, so ... I was able to use those circumstances, and ... since you're a sub, I'm not surprised her "acting out to dom you" played so well ... it's just fun little wrinkles in the story like that that I can bring out in order to play to your preferences ... to me, that's "masterpiece level writing", because I'm telling the story *I* want to tell while ALSO tailoring it the the nuances of my audience ... So, the 8 edges pic ... For me, that was Caprice pushing the envelope ... I was really asking myself if I would be able to fuck her on command and I came to the answer of no. I tried to find the line between "uncomfortable" and "boring", because I have played sets and web teases where the slow stroking just went on too long ... this is excellent feedback. Having my balls being punished for things other people do I really liked and is something I've been trying to write into some of my sets coming up. I do want to be punished but don't really tend to disobey or do anything to warrant punishment because I just want to please them, so someone else's mistake giving them a reason to punish me I really liked.

Most people use multiple girls, one for each scene. That's really common, and often a winning strategy for variety. Single model sets are ALWAYS a risk, because what if the player doesn't like the model or their personality or the story? Then, you are stuck and locked in, but ... sticking with a known winner, yeah ... it's good!

The biggest factor between a good set and great set usually comes down to the dialogue and feeling some sort of connection with the girl like BBBeanie did with Mila, Brian did with Gloria, and you did with Caprice.

I am the SAME WAY ... when I have a connection with the girl, my immersion (and enjoyment) goes WAY up ... which is one of the reasons I try SO HARD to build these characters and stories, so that people can use them and give me that experience without having to craft one from whole cloth ...

As I mentioned, the Caprice that YOU saw was my "own version" which was MOSTY based off of OG Caprice that Roundhound and Helequin popularized, so ... instead of making a "new, bespoke version" of her for you ... I kept her consistent with "my" Caprice and the one that lives in most people's heads around here ... but, THEN ... I allowed THAT VERSION of Caprice--that character--to develop a "soft spot" for you, so ... I wanted to keep the character consistent across experiences, and yeah ... Mila is CERTAINLY known for dialing her busts up and down for different players ... I like that about her!

Moving forward, idk ... You're getting "the same Caprice as everyone else" from me. I don't want to necessarily make a "different version" of my favorite characters for each person, but, rather ... I guess I want them to "modify" their relationship with each person ... keep the core of the character intact, and change the relationship ... in practice, it is the EXACT SAME THING as "softening" but ... just the principle and philosophy of it is different ...

Honestly, whether you get the "harder" portrayal of Caprice (that I feel she projects to the world and the other girls and players on the thread) or, if she is REALLY warm towards you and begins the set that way ... I think that will depend upon her "mood" that day ... Some of the girls don't care about "image." For me--at least my version of Caprice--does. She likes that other people perceive her as "dominant and powerful." She likes the respect she gets from that, the prestige of having a reputation as an "alpha." It creates a certain expectation that people have of her and generates a certain "reverence." Not everyone cares about that. For example, Malena is more internally motivated and principle-driven, whereas Mia (for me) is more carefree and just not caught up in that ... Whether she intentionally developed it or it was just given to her, Caprice has a certain reputation. She's aware of it. She would like to maintain it, because she sees the benefit of it. She is not ONLY about reputation and image, but, it IS a factor for her ... which makes sense to me. I mean, even in that early set YOU wrote for me, she was set on "defining roles." *I* was to be the "sub" and "she" was to be the mistress, and these boundaries and roles were to be accepted ... now, some people could have interpreted that as "She is a rules follower and values "order" and "roles" and the "chaos" and shirking rules bothered her on a fundamental level", but ... I didn't go for that. My interpretation was that she just had an "awareness" of image, and a disobedient sub who refuses to submit to her just makes her look bad ... and so, for me, one of the reasons Caprice has been fence sitting with my proposal is that she is doing the math in her head ... "How does going switch-switch with Leeroy affect my reputation?" And if the answer is "it hurts it", then, is that balanced out by the benefits? Does having a "switch-boyfriend" who truly cares about her make it worth it? If we play long enough, eventually, I think you will get EACH of those sessions from her ...

But, as for "punishments" ... I don't see Caprice as sadistic or moody or "random" enough to just assign you "punishments" without cause ... other dommes sure, but ... to me, she's too much of a perfectionist to behave that way ... you got a pretty decent chance of getting a "punishing" set from her in terms of "difficulty", just because of how she is ... between her "intense and dominant" demeanor and high standards, I can have her EASILY deliver another "exhausting" session for you, but ... if you want that "thrill" and "immersion" experience of "getting punished" ... at least from me, that will require some "story reasons" ...

My advice? Be good to her. I feel like Caprice is one of those people who holds most people at arms length. The ONLY people she lets get close to her are the ones she deems "worthy"--"quality people" of substance with superior character and attributes ... other more "average" people are out there, and she is not going to look down on them, but ... The people she is going to let into her inner circle ... it won't just be ANYONE ... which I think is ALSO why she is hesitant about letting "Leeroy" into her life like that (Here I speak more of the "Leeroy character" I like to "role play" and "cosplay as" when playing and writing sets ...) She values loyalty, so, if she chooses to let you in, don't betray her ... I say keep being a "good girl" for her, and ... if you REALLY want her to punish you ... let it be a natural screw-up on your part ... have somebody "frame you" or be the "whipping girl" ... just my two cents since I'm getting VERY deep into the role play here, haha!

4) Good to know. Sometimes, I find for myself, that actually saying it out loud REALLY adds a LOT to the levels of immersion ... I know how powerful that can be for certain people, so, I always roll the dice and include shit like that in sets, because it can REALLY ramp it up for some people, but ... knowing it's a "meh" for you, I won't go out of my way to include it, but ... in general, it's low hanging fruit, and from set writer to set writer, I suggest throwing it into your sets from time to time.

She's not "goddess tier" pretty for me, but ... I'd say she's an 8.5. She's got BIG 'ole titties--which, as an ass man, I'm usually just neutral on! I can call it after 1 or 2 and save the rest for the next day, or, since I'm good with cumming multiple times, I can just keep going! I'm a thespian (member of the International Thespian Society since my time doing plays in high school), so, while writing dialogue in MOST cases pulls the tease player OUT of the experience and makes it "less immersive" ... in THIS case, just write however you think I might respond, and, since I'm an actor, I will "immerse myself in the role," and have a good time with it ...

For scene two, I should be in "Dom Mode." Here ALL of my rules are suspended. I am in full control, and I may stroke, edge, and even cum as I see fit. Yeah, that's true ... it CAN be a little weird to dom while ALSO subbing ... it's like they are different parts of the brain, so ... You kind of switch off your "dominant" side and become "subby", but ... if you are feeling subby, then it's hard to get aroused through dominance ... they are kind of competing interests ...

Like, lmind tried a LITTLE something like that for me in his last set ... I was being dominated by a succubus, and she told me to fantasize about dominating a sub (who was tying herself up in bondage) ... and it just did NOT work out for me ... Like, to feel dominant, I have to feel like *I* am in control ... and when I KNOW I am being dommed and ACTIVELY being controlled ... then, I am NOT in control, so ... instead of being aroused ... it just didn't work for me. There is really NO WAY to "win", but ... I think EITHER approach can be fine, but ... it will probably come down to the player ...

If you are NOT very imaginative, then you will NEED the tease writer to "describe what you are doing." Then, you don't have to "imagine what you are doing" it just IS happening (as you read it) ... BUT ... the tease player needs to describe their dom "style and preferences" so that the tease writer can "direct the scene" accurately and 2nd person narrate things the player would ACTUALLY do to keep them immersed in the scene ... It is still NO substitute for REAL decision-making in the moment, but ... I think it COULD be an effective compromise ...

And then of course the OTHER style--for the more imaginative players--would be to keep it "more open ended." Just describe either the girl, what she's doing, and what she's asking for ... and then let the player--in their OWN head--sort of imagine and "play out" what they would do, but ... that requires the player to "actively fantasize", but ... it gives them a LOT more freedom, so ... if they are immersed in the scene and have an active imagination (and/or enjoy role playing) THAT approach could work VERY well ...

and then there is mixing the two approaches, but ... I think you kind of have to go with one or the other ... I think both can give a pretty good result, but ... it probably depends on the player and the writer--preferences/ability of the player and skills of the writer ... So, if we were categorizing, I would say "directed" vs "imaginative." So, switch players should state in their rules which format they prefer (or both or neither). If they prefer "directed", then, they need to state their "dom style/personality." Are they "rough" or "soft" or "playful" or "naughty" ... someone else is "writing the script for them", so ... if someone else is directing, and you HAVE to tell them how you wish to role play so they can "write your part" accurately for you, and ... if you have someone who is NOT imaginative AND if you have a good writer can narrate/direct the action well ... There isn't much branching to do ... it's all scripted ... I think that could work VERY WELL ... you just need good communication beforehand ...

And then for the imaginative, the player needs to give the context, but ... you don't have to "narrate the action" ... just write good descriptions ... the player will narrate "what they do" in their head. Here, a few branching options will be helpful, but ... if you are relying on the PLAYER doing most of the heavy lifting, that means while organizing the branching may be a bit of a pain, you can get away with less text ... and you don't have to be as familiar with the player's preferences and psyche ... For a pic like this:

One player might edge, while another imagines slapping her ass, while another might rim her asshole, while another might fuck her pussy, while another might imagine licking her cunt ... ALL for the same pic ... and, the mood might strike them different if that same pic came up again later, and they might "pretend to take a different action" ... And you can keep it more open-ended, but ... it ONLY works if the player is "imaginative" ... which means they need to be immersed BEFORE the scene begins to really get in the correct frame of mind ...

And then, there are "switch scenes" that are neither "directed" nor "imaginative." Like, for example, when Caprice was domming Sofi in front of you. You can just be an observer to the domination that is happening in front of you. That's more of a "passive" "dom scene" ... and those kinds of scenes CAN work for "submissives" as well ... and "passive" has a few flavors ... there is the "watching someone actively get dommed" in front of you ... there's just "describing someone getting dommed" ... there's someone describing how they might wish to be dommed ... so, LOTS of variation in the "passive" category of "dom scene" ...

My personal favorite--what I think is HELLA switch--is being dominated yourself while at the same time watching someone ELSE get dominated ... being helpless in the moment while you fantasize about how you WISH you could be in control ... of course, that works for subs as well ... they just fantasize about being the recipient of the punishment ...

So far, I have "two modes" to help facilitate this ... Maintaining control or at least FEELING like you are "in control"--I feel--is an essential element of writing a successful dom scene. If you don't feel like you are in control, you can't REALLY have a "dom experience" in the set. Rules restrict and help to facilitate a "sub mentality," so ... you have to get rid of them in order to have a chance of truly "feeling like a dom" in a set ...

First, I have "teasing sub mode." This, I don't think would work well for "true" doms, but, for switches, I think it could work VERY VERY well ... it's basically a hybrid compromise. So, your normal rules are in effect (though probably JUST stroking and edging), BUT ... the limits are removed. So, you have to do the minimum, but, you CAN do more--as you like.

The goal here is to give the player MORE control so they "feel" in charge, but ... there is a sort of "switch" back-and-forth give-and-take dynamic ... Imagine the sub is being VERY submissive and also TEASING ... The tone of the scene will be written with the "player in charge," but, it will NOT be "total free-form" ... For me, the girl might turn around, showing me her ass, which would trigger me to edge with text of "My ass just drives you WILD--doesn't it?" So, she's teasing ME, and I am not FULLY in control, but ... it is kind of a "middle ground" between "imaginative" and "directed" ... or at least it COULD be ... I can ALWAYS do more--like edge multiple times for her ass. And if she flashes her tits and I think they are HOTT, I could edge for them--because *I* am in control ... and you can throw some "directed" things in here to, which demands to undress or assume certain positions ...

It's all theoretical at this point, but ... having some BASE rules in place helps to keep it "directed" while there is freedom to "go beyond" which makes it imaginative ... The "back-and-forth" SHOULD appeal to switches, because at any time, she can flash a body part and "trigger a reaction" from you ... which, for a TRUE dom would be offputting, but ... for a switch? THAT *should* work out alright ... and being able to do as you like in combination with submissive writing ... I have HIGH HOPES that this will deliver ... ESPECIALLY for intro and "warm-up" switch sets ...

So, then the SECOND I am just calling "Dom Mode." ALL of the restrictions are removed. This is just free stroking and edging. The first is more teasing and foreplay, so ... it's alright to NOT be "fully in control" ... but, further on into the tease, the player SHOULD be fully immersed, which means moving to something that is more "free form" should be easier ... and now, the player is in FULL control. And here, THESE SCENES will probably be more like either just "directed" or just "imaginative."

For directed scenes, you are basically just reading a story and reacting as you want, but, since there are no restrictions, you can take your time and move at the pace you wish (since there are no limits of stroking X number of times or for Y seconds or doing Z edges). Even when just "reading someone else describing what you are doing", having control of the pace should give the *feeling* that you are in charge--which, as I said, is an essential state of mind for the player to be in when domming. Photos and text that work for you, you can linger on. YOU set the pace. Stuff that doesn't work or you just want to move on fast with, you can. The problem is ALWAYS the player "rushing ahead" and BURNING through content at a FAR faster pace than normal where they have to do X strokes per pic, but ... perhaps then they can "linger" longer where they like, and it all evens out? idk ...

For imaginative scenes, you're just "role playing in your head," with the set giving you visual prompts and focuses ... it's kind of "aiding" your imagination ... and so the "free form" of having no restrictions GREATLY improves that ... You feel like you are in control because you are NOT being controlled.

The "heavy scripting and branching" dom scenes we have seen in the past REALLY try hard to be both directed AND imaginative at the same time. I think we will have more success if we try to pick one and go for it instead of trying to utilize BOTH techniques at the same time. I think the "teasing sub mode" will be VERY popular and VERY EASY to implement ... pretty much ANYONE can write for it, because it's just doing what we have been doing except using submissive dialogue instead ... The "imaginative" and "directed" techniques will require some focused effort and communication. They will require writers to write in a style (either second person or more descriptive and open ended), which is VERY different from the typical text thread tease writers write--which is normally just pure dialogue. However, when coordinated with good communication about player preferences, assuming the tease writer has the skill to write the appropriate style ... I think we can start including dom scenes here on the thread WITHOUT making it crazy time-consuming--it just requires good communication beforehand and a willingness to try some new techniques--and then the coordination to match those techniques to the preferences in order to sculpt the appropriate experience ... but, we're good at communication and "crafting experiences" so ... I don't see there being any real issue with us pulling this off ...

I most certainly have! I was lurking for a while before I joined ... it has been something I have been thinking about for a while, and even MORE when I decided I wanted to dom Caprice!

After writing all of that, I decided to "jump the gun" and just try out a set REAL QUICK that used those ideas ... it'll be for Ecik and Helequin. I'm trying to BOTH write it "as fast as I can" while ALSO "trying out" some of my ideas ...
