Release plans

Hi guys!
Originally the plan for a release was this october!
Those who have been following my post's knows that it wont happen :)

The much more realistic plan:
Projects a release somewhere between january and february.
It will at first be a release for a few selected people - I already have the few in mind. (Alpha phase)
Then a few weeks later after the worst bug-crushing is over it will move to beta, with more people being invited
And then what should be a month later the official release.

So i'm sorry that Spicy is very delayed :)
On the bright side Avatar has made a new release of his ---House of Tease--- and its awesome! :smile: :smile: :smile:

On Sexscript there is a new "Slave Training" script which is kinda cool
Or you can always sign up for "Jennifer is in control"
So a lot of awesome kinky projects going on!
Its very exciting!

Today was a good day for Spicy.
I have gotten a lot of work done which is always an awesome feeling :-D

So right now I feel like sharing just a little bit about what to expect and what I am currently thinking/doing etc.
So quite some time ago I started compiling material for what is to be the backbone of the academy.
The study material - of course when you're attending the academy you gotta have your "school books".
You can expect titles suchs as:
Cleaning manual 1 and 2, Slave's Lingerie guide, Handymans guide, Decorations guide, Health guide, Recipe book, Etc..
Basicly everything I can think of that would prove usual knowledge as a "real" house slave.

While that all seems good (at least to me), it has proven really difficuilt writing the academy scripts and currently they aren't really what I want, but I'm not sure how to do what I want (Its all very confusing I know :lol: ).

On the other hand Adventure has proven to be a ton of fun to write.
And I cannot wait to share it with you guys!

Hi guys!

Another look into my thoughts! :wave: (Dunno if people read these xD)

This has a mix of three things!
Variables (short)
First is settings (How, what, why)
And communication with Tease-AI

Variables
All you need to know is that Spicy uses a large number of variables (+40 at least!)

Settings
Settings is not just settings inside Spicy.
Its a dynamic thing with different elements.
The first part is the static part inside background mode where you can change quite a number of things about your own limits, the domme etc. The fun thing is that once you've been inside here once you can actually "lock" yourself out preventing further changes (It can be unlocked but for a heavy fee).
Now most of these settings are stored, not at flags, but as Variables.
The second part: The awesome thing about variables is that they can change through time, not being a simple on/off elements. So what you do when playing with the domme suddenly matters a lot. Imagine locking yourself out of from settings after chosing a baseline. What happens over time you dont know, but your behaviour, things you say just became more important. :-)

Communication!
I bet everyone remember the first time they tried Tease-AI and wrote something to it in the chat - And holy crap it just gave out a meaningfull response!!
Unfortunately the feeling quickly grew less interesting because very soon you could actually predict what she would say.
I have been giving this a LOT of thought on how to best handle communication because it can provide with very nice moments.
The thing is that to write a communication system would require monumental effort and is waaay to much work for 1 person.
So how are communication gonna differ from the classic style in order to still matter?

Well first: Communication is gonna be divided into 3 separate things: Local, global and personality communication.
Local communication is communication that only works inside a certain script, say you're playing a game and you type "I dont wanna play anymore" - This might result in the domme ending the game. Local communication will often be very situational responses often with a Big impact.

Global communication: Works almost everywhere, will output a somewhat generic response and wont impact a lot if at all.

Personality communication: This is a big new thing :smile: (and what I will be investing some time into). This also fixes 2 problems I had, what to do with communication and what to do with links. Links have always bothered me because I wasn't really sure what to do with them and they often ended up being more annoying than useful when having a session.
Everytime a link is activated it will be your chance to engage in a conversation with your domme.
Are you feeling a little sad today, happy? Do you think she hurts you a little to much/to little? Wanna tell her how horny you are - desperate for a relief? Ask her to meet one of her friends? Tell her you just bought a new toy etc. etc.
If you have something on your mind/heart this is the moment to tell her. Links are gonna work as a window, a moment which focuses on you and your domme.

So imagine having locked your settings, links are gonna be the way to communicate needs, pleasentries and others.

Modules / Starts / Ends / Background mode / a few others: Will be limited to local / global communication
Links: Global and personality communication

As stated I have been giving this a lot of thought and I feel this is a really good way to both handle communication and links.

Yep....I feel the same thing. I always thought the Response system should be universal for all Personalities, this is because its the only thing I include in Hot from others personalities. You are free to get anything from there, if you want. Just remember to check if any response call other files.

One thing I failed is to always put something after a Domme question mark, in case the user answer (with a timeout, in case of no answer).

I thought if we were a professional team creating content, one of the positions should be "Interactive Director" :lol:

To me, links are a chance to recover, but I liked your idea. Something like what I wanted to do with the Domme backstory. But how you will active this just in Links? The response system use just Not Stroking parts, what includes Modules and Links together.

Wow, your last post really hyped me up this time, honestly. The only problem i find with teaseAI right now is exactly what you have talked about....no matter how much effort you put in trying to make things a bit more random, after a while, you can more or less have an idea of what are the probabilities of something happening when you say something.

Your idea sounds incredible, honestly and, if you really manage to make it work (which seems to me like a huge task....well more than huge :lol: ) it would really make spicy stand among all the personalities.

I can't wait to try it, really....from all the hints you are giving up about her, it sounds really, really promising.

And i also love the idea of using variables instead of flag and being able to auto-lock yourself out making your behaviour matter more and more over time....it is really a great concept and could really make the whole relationship with the domme seem to grow and change over time depending on what you do.

I can't imagine the amount of work you are putting into it :w00t:

The first problem I can think of would be that you want the system to capture the "feel" of the personality you're creating - I suppose this could be solved through the vocabulary.
Second problem would be that you probably wouldn't want the same outcomes from different paths of communication, you might want it to set a flag, a variable and these would probably never match for the different personalities.

And to answer your question:
Spicy is gonna be using flags as a on/off switch for when different part of communication is unlocked or locked.
Communication with a outcome of more than just a simple reply can also be misused to sort of skip different parts.
So when you're entering a link a certain flag is set opening up for the communication files that has impact, and before the link is ended this flag gets deleted :) (By "impact" I mean stuff that changes variables, opens up different scripts etc.)
As stated though, This is still only on brainstorm level. I haven't actually written or done anything with it yet :)
But to me the flow is important and I feel that while communication can be used to GREATLY enhance the experience it can also reduce it.

Currently my focus and writing are on modules and how to make the events inside happening according to chance and the relevant variables. I wish I was a programmer because a tool that would help me a lot would work similar to flags like:

I think i remember seeing this idea being developed....but i don't remember if it was some sort of plan 1885 had before disappearing again or if it was something already implemented....i'll have a look at the code and see if i can come up with something (the problem is that i am using a modified version of teaseAI....i don't remember what i have changed and which version i started from, so, if i manage to find a way to make it work i will then pass it to Stefaf to try to implement it in the official version as i already done with a few personal modifications i already had :smile: )

Well, we always can edit the response we dont wanted. I think I did that in 2 or 3 included in HoT.

About the Link what I understood is, you will put a @Flag in all responses, to be active just in Links, that is it?
Just remember, the response is ramdom so, use the @NotFlag command in the simple replies to avoid getting that in the Links.

Would be cool if Responses had a [Molule Start] [Molule End] [Link Start] [Molule End] sections.

Chastity..

How to handle chastity inside Spicy 3.0?
From the beginning customization has been very important when writing the personality
In Spicy 1 and 2 chastity was Mandatory, she expected you to have a expected you to have a device and that you were able to wear it full time..
Spicy 3 does neither.. :)
You will be able to heavily customize how Spicy handle chastity.
Do you own a device?
Metal or plastic?
Full belt or Ball trap?
Piercing?
Is it possible to wear prolonged?
Can you sleep with it?
Plastic numbered locks or metal padlock?
Can you exercise with it?
Do you own a timed lockbox?
Longest period of time worn?
What do you considder a Short/medium/long lock Up period?
Etc. Etc.
All this info will be used to in determining how Spicy should handle chastity with you and if she should use it All.
She will encourage you to be honest if you Break a rule, she will try to train you wearing it, she will train you how to handle Days of horniness and More.

Chastity in Spicy 2 was extremely static and didn't really allow for individuel needs, Limits etc.
Meaning that you might not be able to accomplish certain goals and that is a turn off/annoyance in the long run.
What i'm trying with this is to set realistic goals, giving the user a sense of accomplishment wether its learning to sleep caged, just wear it for 12 hours, or Perhaps even set a New record.

I myself am excited about this.
And I Hope you will be too :)

Thoughts:
Regarding Academy for Spicy.
I have for a period now been unhappy with how it was organized and functioned etc.
And I dont really wanna write something I dont really believe will be good.
Well yesterday I think I finally found a solution to how I wanna structure it.
So Academy is gonna be something on its own instead of modules running somewhat randomly.
Spicy now has academy days, these are placed on the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30'th for every month.
Choosing to be a full time slave you have to attend at least 4 of these days every month.
This also requires Academy to be a lot more content heavy, so I'm hard at work (as much as one can be, I got other stuff too ;-) ).
More on this later!

Regarding Toys
So Spicy can use a number of toys.
Well again it varies how often you actually wanna use some of these.
So I've been rethinking how toys are handled.
In the initial setup you'll be able to choose regarding every toy:
Have it or not (This isn't new)
Do you considder the toy to be used for: Fun, punishment or both - also includes toy specific choices. (New)
How often do you want this toy to be used? Very often, often, domme decide, sometimes or rarely.
Along with other settings.
More on this later, but basicly you'll be given some choice regarding how often toys are used - if used at all.
