What's milo coming to?

Post by SexualChoc »

So
We can ask for money now??
I thought that links to people asking for cash were not permitted
if someone does a Scam in chat linking to a pay site... they get barred..
if they link in forums, tons of spam they get notified and the post goes away

but apparently it is perfectly okay to do a Web-tease asking for money!! :hmmm:
I am referring to the tease by: Mistress_Rain

what do you think??

Some people are into finantial domination. Some people are into blackmailing. Of course, it's stupid as hell to disclose your personal info to a stranger, however some people WANT to do that, and I'm noone to stop them in their stupidity.
It's a fetish, and as all fetishes should be approached with care. Especially when the tease stresses this point out.
This particular tease you are referring to is good. It HAS a body of a tease, it has instructions, good pictures and so on. It's pretty well written in comparison to some others. If it was a one-pager I'd say take it down. But it's not. It is a complete TEASE that explores the fetish of financial domination and blackmail. It should have full rights. It is OK.
Also for many guys this will remain a hot great fantasy to stroke to. And maybe for some this will change their life. Remember, that blackmail is agains the laws of MOST countries, and such things may actually work only while the receiving side has consent.

The most I think should be done to it - is to ask the author to put in a good full disclaimer on the first page, explaining all pros and cons of finantial domination and information disclosure. It's ALREADY in there. First thing she does is states her full intentions without hiding and going about. The site may ask for a better disclamer, if someone is afraid here, however. If she does that - the tease is OK.

I see what your trying to say Nezhul but this person and other people that makes those teases as a first tease and I think there is a chance that it is their only tease are only after the money so and scam the people who are doing sending the message to that person.

Isn't admins/moderators jobs to protect them from happening into things?????
In my opinion it is, cause it is scamming. Blackmailing can be done but I don't see the reason in it for someone to ask straight away for money.

Surely the same rules apply to the chat the forums and the teases. I don't see what the confusion is here. Surely if someone is directing users to a pay site within tease that is by it's nature advertising and against site rules. Have you raised this issue with Seraphox or one of the other Admins? Have you reported the tease for breaking the rules?

and Not give any money back to the site...
Any free forum with a "sale" subforum works like that. yup, it's completely OK. Again, if the purpose were to SELL something or to purely make money it would be bad. However the purpose of this tease is... TEASE! And exploration of rare fetishes. Yes, those fetishes involve money as a source of domination, but there are people who NEED and LIKE it. It's a pretty common fetish really.

And there are other people who make money using this particular site. And all other sites. It's completely OK and should be encouraged as long as it's in the line....

The trend that scares me more is that in the last year people tend to want to make Milovana more and more and MORE and MORE rule-driven, closed and political. We don't like anime teases already. Now we starting to dislike some fetishes. Then we'll start to go against gays? May I do against teases with black people - they are completely not sexual for me, I dislike them.
Chill out. The tease is good, it stresses things out TWICE, it has a good-written tease part (though it may have been better because edging so much for one picture......)
Surely if someone is directing users to a pay site within tease that is by it's nature advertising and against site rules
BUT IT'S NOT! It's not promoting ANYTHING. It's a finantial domination/blackmail tese, where the mistress asks to e-mail her your personal info and send her money as a first tribute! It's NOT a promotion, it's NOT a pay site. It's a mean of making personal slave-Domme contract via Webtease.

Does it matter? A tease is a tease. And there's no difference if it's the first one or tenth one - this topic is dangerous by default. So as CBT, or breathplay, or bondage. It's an exploration of a legimate fetishes. Don't hype it up more than you need to! Have you guys READ the tease? Well I did. It's all good.
Isn't admins/moderators jobs to protect them from happening into things?????
No it's not. It never was, at least, on this site. The moderator's job here always was to maintain piece and help people explore their fetishes.
In my opinion it is, cause it is scamming. Blackmailing can be done but I don't see the reason in it for someone to ask straight away for money.
It's not, again. If someone is willing to send money right away in a tease by the mistress he doesn't know - those money don't go to waste. Those money are spend to please himself. He spends them for HIS PLEASURE. It's not like he's MADE to spend money, it's not like he HAS NO CHOICE. It's not like he's led into the delusion about what happens next or what the purpose of those money is. It simply lacks the characteristic of scam. The author is very strainght-forward with that. She explicably tells what you get: "Blackmail, living in fear". She Explicably tells you what you get for those money: "Nothing, it's just to prove you are serious". Also that act of asking for money actually PROTECTS those who are not serious enough, because without money sending an e-mail is USELESS, so only those who are really serious are going to be blackmailed.
Are we clear here? It's no scam.

And also, For FUCK sake, let people decide for themselves what to do with their money and is it worth of sending them to a webtease author you know nothing about. Not only that - the chance of someone sending the mail is remote. But let people live on their own. They DON'T NEED yours or moderator's protection.

Also let me make a small list of things why the ttease should and should NOT stay.

The tease should stay, because:
1) It's exploring legimate and widely accepted fetishes, and exploration of fetishes is the aim of Milovana
2) It's by all criteria a medium/poor quality tease, but tease nonetheless. I could voice A LOT of complaints to how it's written, but hopefully the author get's better at it. It has story, interaction, commands, picture(s). It is long enough.
3) It has straight disclaimers, and nothing is hidden.
4) It's good for those who just like the thought of being blackmailed, but don't want to send mail. Many teases on this site can lead to injury, including permanent life-long injury. There are teases that are life threatening. It's completely normal for blackmail teases to be here.
5) Those one-paged "Make me your slave!" teases were worse.

Why it should be deleted. I'll mark false statements with red.
1) It leads to paysite to promote it. No it's not. It leads to paypal, which doesn't need promotion.
2) It's scam. It's not. You are explicably told what you get for the money in return - nothing. No misleading or decieving, which characterize scam.
3) The author gets money, using Milo, the free site, and the site gets nothing.
So what? Are we going to pay this site for all benefit we get? For me, the most stupidest reasons.
4) The users should be protected from harm. No they are not! We are all adults with our own head on our shoulders. We damn well know what's harmful by ourselves. If we ARE going to protect users from harm, I demand all CBT teases be removed right now, especially those that apply force to balls, because this may lead all the way to the need of amputation. Potentially harmfull, just like Blackmail.

A worry is that Pay Pal will ban anything Adult Related.

So could a participant have their Pay Pal account shut down??

No, because technically it's not adult related. It's no trade, there's no service or good that is bought. In paypal's eyes it's simply money transfer between two people (friends?). They won't go to such lengths as to search the PURPOSE of payment all the way to last page of a tease on Milovana.

p.s. PayPal bans adult-related things? Didn't know that, but strange.

You may not use the PayPal service for activities that:

2. relate to sales of (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (e) items that are considered obscene, (f) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (g) certain sexually oriented materials or services, or (h) certain firearms, firearm parts or accessories, ammunition, weapons or knives

Hence many ProDommes use wish lists from Amazon et al

Well, It's not a sale. There's no material, thing or service that is being sold. So this rule does not apply, IMO.

Whatever though.

Bounce this scam spam tease out of here? Yeah, it's a scam to try and lure our naive knucklheads into that crap. Delete that shit now before we get a thousand more of those three page fishing teases.

One legal implication could be about what might happen, if somebody knew someone, and knew their details, and they had a disagreement, and then someone had a photo of someone they didn't like anymore, but used to know well, and then they photoshopped the required pic using their ex-friend's face on top of a sign and some abdomen with a resemblance, put down their ex-friend's details, wife, girlfriend, best friend, workplace, boss, and sent that off, as a payback, to get even, for $50, it could get someone in trouble who doesn't want trouble, and that might oneday come back to a place like this.

It's probably another valid fetish for money going separate ways, but there is a lot of scope for misusing it, and it probably wouldn't be that hard to get someone else in trouble by framing them up for that sort of thing. Just a thought that might be worth some consideration.
