Lelo Tiani 2 vs. We-vibe III

Post by Sett »

Experiences? Thoughts? Anyone?

I was looking of a remotely controlled toy to tease my girlfriend with in public and it turned out only the highest end toys have features that i was looking for. So while i was in the neighborhood $150+ i took a look at these two and frankly, i'm all but sold for the Tiani. These are both fairly new models however and i'm not fond of buying a pig in a sack, so if anyone can share their thoughts and/or experiences, it would be greatly appreciated.

I have no personal experience with this product, but I have been reading multiple reviews on the Lelo Tiani, and the biggest complaints have been that the small inserted portion does not have its own vibration motor so the vibration is a bit weak in comparison to the we-vibe, and that the signal cuts out if any body part comes between the unit and the remote, like if she squeezes her legs together. Also the range of the remote is not the advertised 39 ft, most say its more like 18". So be sure it still fits your needs if those reports are accurate. Good luck!

Is that the Tiani 2 as well or just the previous version?
They claim the second version can reach over 100 feet...

I didn't know what your were talking about
but the lelo is:

and the we-vibe3

apologies I can not give you the review you hoped for
but thought it might help
to show the two products.

I am still not sure if these are both only fast/slow vibes

I have found pulsing vibes much more evil
because your body can adjust after a little to a steady speed
but pulses are much more... frustrating.

have you thought about something.. a little less pricy?

Originally i was looking for a butterfly style vibrator, or something similar that would directly tease her clit, but they all lack either wireless controller or sofisticated functions. Or both. I was pondering turning a regular egg (they have what i'm looking for for much better price) into butterfly by somehow securing it in position, but i don't see how that could be done safely, securely and aestethically, plus they are fairly big. Smaller bullets again usually lack desired functions.

These two both have all the desired functions, plus the added value of shared use, though Lelo has two big advantages here in better functions and the smaller insertable arm, as my gf is very tight and i'm not sure i'd fit in with we-vibe. It's not that much of a big deal as we primarily intend to use it for teasing.

Sett,
I'm pretty sure that the complaints of signal loss were on the Tiani 2. The main complaint on the we-vibe was that the inserted portion was too big, and made the "use while making love" too uncomfortable. But again, I am just quoting others that have used it or reviewed the products.

My own experience is with a remote control vibrating egg, that advertised a control range of up to 10 feet, however, on new batteries I could barely get it to work holding the remote control under the table at the restaurant my wife and I were at. So maybe 1 1/2 feet at most. Pretty frustrating to have to keep asking, did it turn on? or the other problem, trying to turn it off and it won't stop while trying to talk to the waiter. (that was kinda funny...well, she was less than pleased...but that's neither here nor there). The lesson I learned is that those remotes are way more weak, and easily blocked than any lab test shows. So I would take the 100' range claim with several grains of salt, unless the transmitter is huge or a cell phone.

hmm, guess i'll just have to buy any butterfly thing and construct my own remote for that

Guess the problem is the band used for transmission, it's the same one wifi uses, and from my experience a palm resting on the wrong spot on my laptop can cut any signal completely off...

Ok, so i googled it some more, and after filtering the original Tiani out, i find nothing but hype on the new one. One particular review said it's the first toy ever to actually be recommended for public play be the reviewer.
On a side note i found out the original remote wasn't much to write home about PLUS there apparently was something wrong with them, because Lelo is replacing them for free, and without asking...

Told you i'm sold
