Dear Milovanians,

Yesterday the unimaginable happened: Our hard drive had a complete failure. With some help from our host, a few hours of installation work and many letters from concerned fans we now have a new one and the server is back up again.

Fortunately, we were able to backup all data, so nothing should be lost. If you find any problems with the site, email us at [email protected] or post in the Tech Support forum.

Sorry for the inconvenience! We'll do our best to prevent events like this one in the future.

I seriously spent more time answering fan mail than I did fixing the server, you guys are just the best community in the world!

Thanks for keeping us updated, i did wonder when i saw the error messages yesterday and im gad youre letting us all know whats going on.

Lets hope the uploaded material works just as well as it did before the disaster.

and i never realised that the community had managed to upload so many images! thats a hell of a lot to upload! Have fun with that

Lets hope that we all wake up to a fully functioning milovana! Meanwhile...

Great that we are back!

Maybe this was also a reason for the small delays the last days. Maybe it wasn't a bandwith problem but a hardware problem. I've seen the avatar pictures are gone. Do we have to upload them again? Or were these pictures also saved?

It's not a big deal, I am just curious.
