I've seen links in the flash teases that are super short, like 10 letters long. Where exactly can I create those links?

I know how to do links like that in a topic. I wanted to know how ppl manage to take a huge link to a video, and shrink it down to a random combination of like 10-15 letters/numbers that is done in flash webteases. To make the links easier to get to so people aren't attempting to write into their search bar long links to videos.
