The usual comments:
1) If you're adverse to seeing guys in CH videos, this is not for you, at least after the 3rd round.
2) Other than round titles and the between-round-break-timer, there's no text. I'm much more inclined on the technical side of this stuff than anything creative. Also, that lets it just be you, the music (and beat), and the video.
3) There is a beat meter. However, I did not go through the time of adding in text blurbs for when the beat changes, and some songs have a lot of them.
4) This video is intended to be enjoyed while using a multi-channel audio device. Certain audio tracks (beat, music, video audio) have different ear-emphasis, and to best enjoy it you need at least Stereo sound.
5) If you didn't like my use of jump cuts/lots of girls per round in the first one, you are likely not going to like this one either. However, I'd like to think I made things a little less jarring this time. On the whole, the clips should last longer, and are tied MUCH closer to the beat of the song, so they should ideally feel more natural. However, this kind of montage video is what I like (both in terms of watching and creating), so don't expect it to go away.
6) Speaking of which, the beat should be mapped much closer to the beat of the song. This has the potential downside of the beats being a little simpler, but the advantage of it being easier to keep with them as long as you can keep a rhythm.
7) New! The beat meter is now color-coded! The colors are listed and shown in the intro to the video
8) New! The clips now last, on average, about 4 times longer than in CH-Hardcore 2. Main benefit here is you can actually take it in before I jump cut to the next one.
Info:
13 rounds + 1 bonus round
1 Hour 18 minutes 29 seconds
720p
h.264
3.41 GB (Sorry, but frankly it looks better than CH-H2 for it)
Obvious downside to the larger video is it is now broken into 5 ZIP files. As per usual, you must download all 5 completely before unzipping. If that size is unreasonable, or your computer can't play 720p video well, there is also a lower quality version. I encoded it to the playback abilities of the iPhone 3GS. It's is low quality, but it does scale relatively well. However, be aware that this was not intended to be played at such a low resolution, so you may lose some edge contrast on the stroke meter.
Apparently iFileIt now requires users log in to download. The service is free, so that may be fine. Meanwhile twl1 has started a torrent that seems to be working fine. Caveat emptor and all that.
