Erotic hypnosis, anyone?

Post by CheerfullyInsane »

Yeah, I know....Even for me this is going to be a little weird.
On the other hand, not that many other people I can share this with, so here goes......

Long story short (or as curt as I'm ever likely to get), I've been playing around with some 'erotic hypnosis' sound-files.
Never really expected anything, nor was I fully convinced that it would actually work.....Bit too much of a cynic to be New Age. *LOL*
And sure enough, for a long while absolutely nothing happened. Well, except that the hypnotist has a very pleasant voice, so I found it a great way to relax. Just take an hour out of the day and switch off, as it were.

So I read a bit more on the subject, and found some tips on how to enter this trance-thingie they kept on about.
Still nothing, but nonetheless a neat way to space out. Wasn't anything particularly advanced, just an induction, a deepener and a tease-scene, and let me tell you if you're not 'under', having someone trying to tease you by voice alone gets a little ridiculous. :-D

By now I'd gotten into the habit on listening to the same sequence a couple of times a day, with absolutely sod-all happening. Still better than sitting through some moronic TV-show though.
That is, until three days ago. File-sequence finished, and I put down my head-phones........
Then I barely had time to think 'Holy Crap!' and this wave of sheer pleasure just washes over what passes for my mind these days. Not the black-out of an orgasm, but the feeling you get just after cumming, when your brain releases a ton of endorphins into your bloodstream. Simply pure, unadulterated bliss.

After 30 seconds or so it faded, and I thought 'What the fuck was that?', then the next wave rolls in!
And the next.....And the next.......
I spent something like 6-7 minutes curled into a ball, softly mewling (there goes the macho-image :-P ), and by the end of it I was covered in sweat, and absolutely knackered.
And a little freaked, to be honest.

I mean, I know for a fact that mind-over-matter can be done. Hell, that's basically what a wet dream is.
But being able to induce it at will is something else entirely.
Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying this is the next best thing since remote-control.
Fuck, I'm not even sure what this is. All I know is that I'm able to reproduce the results, to some extent or another. Doesn't always work, nor can I do it with other files as of yet.
But it's a fun experiment. :-D

So........
Has anyone else played around with this?
Or is this simply me who have finally cracked the last of my marbles?
By the time you swear your his.
shivering and sighing.
And he vows his passion is,
infinite, undying.
Lady, make a note of this:
One of you is lying.

I used to give them a shot, some of them were pretty good! I was a member of a website where such files would get shared around, but it went down a few weeks ago and has yet to resurface.

Never ever did I get hypnotised. Most "hypnodommes" are not very good at what they do, and try to get you to do all the imagination work so that each file can appeal to a wider audience. (Protip: That's not how hypnosis works)

Also Isabella Valentine is like the Uwe Boll of hypnosis. Just throwing that out there.

The human brain is capable of doing more than assumed.
Perhaps your super orgasm was a result of a form of hypnosis.
The Brain is so sexy!
Do not worry about this event, simply accept that you have a sexy mind.
Feel free to enhance that mind, my teases might help.

At another time in my life, i became certified as a clinical hypnotherapist. Here's my take, CI.

As you say, the mind is more capable than we really experience... your wet dream example is a good one. I see hypnosis as an elaborate form of "permission giving" and because our world tells us to keep ourselves in control, vigilant for attack in one form or another, we never fully relax.

Hypnosis process helps us relax (the induction) and then the specific internal script, if we can be relaxed enough to follow it, and we are interested enough in where it is going, can lead us to some new experiences. But never outside of what we would be willing to do.(if a script tries to take us someplace we do not want to go, the relaxation/induction dissapears, no matter how skilled the induction) Just stuff we would not generally experience or explore because we are afraid of that vulnerability. The vulnerability that comes with letting down our vigilance.

A lot of the human brain capability sits in the space we call hypnagogic sleep, right between wakefulness and unconscious. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypnagogia If we get comfortable remaining in this level of consciousness, we can leverage the organ (the brain) in ways that we cannot in our awake alert state. But still will not cross outside of our primary moral code.

So have no worries, and if you are finding a voice/induction style that works for you, it's all good. It took some practice to get better at "letting go" so that's why it came as a surprise. Now, the struggle will be that you'll go into (or near) the state with an expectation, and the mental clutter of that expectation will get in your way. Thinking thoughts like "am I beginning to feel that again?" Is this it?" I'm not sure if it's working this time." etc...

This is the work of learning to use your body's most imprortant organ, and the excersize of will. :-)
KINKY FACT: I'm more of a tease and delay guy than tease & deny... prolong pleasure, but don't deny it! I submit to others on cam shows once a week or so. Contact me to be notified.

First things first:
Razen wrote:What was the hypno file you were listening to?
I got a ton of files from eSuccubus.
Mainly Elenas files though. Apparently Raeft is better at it, but for me there's something wrong about having a male voice in my ears. To each his own, and so on.
Anyways, the combo that brought the above to happen was:
1) Rambling Induction
2) Obey Women
3) Straight from Elena
No guarantees that it'll work on anyone else though. Seems this whole thing (as far as I can figure) is based on finding the right combination of files by the right person.
And with my usual luck, just when I find a hypnotist that I like I find out that she left the scene a year ago.
I'll say this about my luck, it's certainly consistent. :-P
Ohmega wrote:Never ever did I get hypnotised. Most "hypnodommes" are not very good at what they do, and try to get you to do all the imagination work so that each file can appeal to a wider audience. (Protip: That's not how hypnosis works)
I'd agree. There's a ton of chaff out there, most of it painfully bad. :-D
I had one run-in with someone (can't remember her name) doing her entire sessions with some badly acted Russian accent. Nearly fell out of my chair laughing at that one.
As for whether it's 'real' hypnosis, I don't know. Way too new to this to tell either way.
I'd assume you have to work harder at it when using files, since there's no feed-back for the hypnotist to time her voice with, but again that's an educated guess.
No matter.....Haven't a clue what happens, but as long as it's fun, people can call it what they like.
I heard about Valentine too when sifting through the net, and grabbed a couple of files.
Again, nothing major, FreeFall and neutral stuff like that. Haven't really tried them yet, but I like her voice so I'll be keeping at it.
Also Isabella Valentine is like the Uwe Boll of hypnosis. Just throwing that out there.
What, she also challenges her critics to boxing-matches? :-D
Floppino wrote:Just try Nikki Fatale.....
Again one of the names I also came across.
Unfortunately, there's something about her voice that really grates on my nerves.
Can't put my finger on what it is, but every time I listen to her, I mainly feel like punching her to get her to shut up........
Not really conducive to relaxing. *LOL*
Kendoll wrote:Do not worry about this event, simply accept that you have a sexy mind.
Oh, I intend to. Getting to the age where it's the last body-part that can be considered sexy anyway, so...... :-D
Besides, while I did get a little freaked afterwards, that was mainly due to surprise and the unusual feeling.
Getting raped by your own mind is a little disconcerting at first. *LOL*
But if something like this is possible with a little tenaciousness, it does open up some interesting possibilities.

I hear ya. I've found out that the hardest part is not trying to anticipate it, but instead just follow along.
Trying to induce it through sheer willpower is an exercise in futility, but on the other hand you can't let go entirely (since that, least to me, just means falling asleep).
It's not unlike trying to balance on a teeter-totter.
It's fun though, and even when it doesn't work as desired, it's still a nice way to recharge.

Elena's accent, her vocal technique was what I found hard to handle. Her ideas were great, but if only she could find someone with a more pleasant voice to speak her ideas.

Another one that works well is Kasha Shakti, if you are endeared towards the subtle southern accents somewhere north of Mexico and down below the Mason-Dixon line.

---

To be honest, 'works well' is a matter of personal opinion. I don't mind relaxing sometimes to some of her work, but relaxation is about as much of an effect it has. It's still nice to listen to every now and then, but it doesn't achieve the expected result. for which I am usually grateful.

It would probably take a special kind of friend to make it work the way it is intended, and those kinds of friends are too busy with movie stars to bother with plain old dudes like me.

lol, just goes to show how different we all are I guess - Nikki has the best voice of all in the entire hypno community in MY opinion

What I think we CAN establish tho, is that how well we like the voice and style of the hypnotist is extremely important for the experience as a whole. If you keep paying attention to the quality of details of the voice itself, especially if it is in any way negative, that clearly is a complete showstopper for the hypnosis to ever work as well.
Yes, I most certainly CAN do it again!

I have been trying a lot of hypnosis files. I started a couple of years ago and for now you actually could say it's kinda a fetish for me.

There are some really crappy ones what I don't enjoy. Either the voice don't works for me, and yea I definitely can't listen to male voice, or the recording its'elf is bad quality. Not all of them actually is a hypnosis, even if it's called like that. Some are simply audio for masturbation...

My favorite is Isabella Valentine so far. I just love her voice. And her files, most of the, works. I really can feel that relaxation and I'm being turned on too. Like Jackpot from IV for example, it's supposed to make you cum without touching, I haven't done it yet but I feel all the other things like shivers and tingling and I get close to edge even without touching.

So yea, it definitely works. Only you have to find right ones that would work for you.

The trouble with "hypnosis files" is that they have to be geared for a general audience.
Rather like a webtease.
Where as being with a "hypnotherapist" the instructions can be adapted as the practitioner monitors/gauges the "patients" reactions.
Like some of the forum and chat teases.

I have found that most of the file makers have at least one file that is made to get you used to their style and vocals.
As I have said before if you don't feel you are feeling what you should pretend and the results will improve.

Happy dreams.

At the end of the day, if you're single then that is one thing, but if a subject already has a girlfriend, or two, then there needs to be some kind of transference from stranger to known person, or else it's not going to be fidelitable to extant relationships. Why jump over the fence to get your milk if you already have a cow in your barn?

They do seem to try to make a token gesture of it sometimes, but I do not yet know of any hypnotist that has the capacity nor the will to place a trigger in a subject's mind that is open to strangers to unlock, and that would be the means to accomplish the task in the real world, but not much of a money spinner. Hypnotists are only there for the money, so can that idea.

Just to throw in my tuppence worth. I became interested in Hypno Domme/Teases when i accidentally came across Lady Julia's website.
And as no one has yet mentioned her i thought I'll just throw in her name. All of her MP3's are free and of a very high quality, and she does seem to be a really nice and genuine person. I think i was really lucky to start with her site, and really recommend it to anyone new to the scene....so here's the main page, http://www.ladyjulia.net/main.html . And here's her mp3's http://www.ladyjulia.net/sounds.html . The rest of the site is well worth a read, especially if you're new to this stuff.

I know she was a member of OD for a while so may be some of you old timers  might know her.

I have enjoyed trying out a few erotic hypnosis sound tracks but I haven't really managed to descend into "real" trancing. On the other hand, I have experienced physical sensations that were very pleasurable, basically by "telling" myself to experience them on the stipulation that the hypnotist had just "told" me to experience them. Problem was that the hypnotist didn't sit in the room next to me and monitor my reactions and add or subtract instructions accordingly, so I found myself "telling" myself things like, "It will be appropriate to tell myself to feel orgasm right when she says the word 'glow'" and then waiting around for her to say "glow" again and being disappointed that she didn't say it soon enough for me to remain aroused enough to believe I could orgasm.

In other words, it's too complicated and my brain gets in the way and the hypnosis session isn't accurate enough to my specific condition and state for it to be efficiently successful. I get serious dick-tinglies, and a very very accelerated and strengthened heartbeat, and dry-mouth, and a lot of pre-cum. But I don't ejaculate and I don't experience orgasm and I really don't have the sense that it will go any further toward greater pleasure if I keep at it with my current batch of files. In fact, if anything, my level of positive experience is diminishing the more often I listen to a particular file. I've gotten to where parts of them are memorized and I find that my mind wanders off into, "I wish she'd get done with the boring part" or "wait she got it backwards" type thinking. I need new material to keep me stimulated, but I need old material to be inured enough to it that it will stimulate me. Double-bind.

Additionally, I have a hard time finding the right kind of material. I want instruction but not abusive domination. I don't enjoy the domination aspect of ero-hypno much. It's rather difficult to find an induction tape that does tell you, "You will now do what I instruct you" and "you will now feel what I tell you to feel" without it also telling you, "because you're a little worm that deserves to be crushed underfoot." I personally don't happen to like the crushed underfoot part, or the cum eating part, or the grovel at her magnificence part, or the now you're a girl part, or the let him fuck you up the ass part. Evidently the professional hypno-dommes believe (whether rightly or not) that their primary market consists nearly entirely of men who DO enjoy those parts.

In general, I've tried to Isabella Valentine "Jackpot" series. I don't find her to be the Uwe Boll of hypnotic erotic domination, now that I've used Wikipedia to look up who Uwe Boll is, though I do think I get the joke. There's something rather aggressive about Nikki Fatale, and I HATE her stupid-little-girl-goes-to-market voice. I can't identify other hypno-dommes by name well enough, off the top of my head, to comment on others.

These subjects have been covered a little bit in this thread:

Anyone know anything about 'Arkadia' ?

I've just been listening to two of hers, 'Mindrain' and 'Chastity'. About the best hypnodomme I've yet come across :w00t:
kinda soft and quiet, but soooo powerful - really love them

From a quick look on google it seems that she does a lot of free mp3's, anyone know where I can find these?
All the best , Bobby
