Not really suggesting this be in the official rules.
So, first, MOST importantly, let me give a huge kudos to AndyP (IIRC) for starting this amazing genre and for ALL of you contributors. I've really enjoyed them. Sorry about not thanking you before now, to be quite quite honest too busy masturbating whenever I happen to think about thanking you (in fact even now hard to do so...). Anyway, huge thanks.
I'm a big believer that rules exist for a reason and optional rules equally should. I think the rules of Cock Hero work really well. So below I spend some time yammering on about the background and rationale for these optional rules. But if you want to skip that, feel free, I've tried to nicely title that section in case you want to skip the blah-blah (the blah-blah does explain though why they may or may not be for you).
****YAMMERING BACKGROUND****
Now, basically I've found 2 challenges in enjoying playing. First, just as a going-in (but critical) observation, very often the early rounds aren't huge enough turn-ons that I'm really challenged; that's not even a criticism, I think that's even good (for me, personally, anyway) as it's a good build-up and it's own kind of tease/frustration. So I don't want to change that dynamic. BUT this leads to the first challenge, that going through them multiple times gets rather tedious, even, I daresay as I experienced in one that did take me a few goes, unto the point of being annoying (normally I go through once, there are many that trip me up for 2-3 trips, one for more, which I'm disclosing just so you know the type of play). Now, some of that is taste (the simple naked girl being sexy thing isn't a huge turn-on normally, sorry). But some is just the repetition.
Also, there's a small challenge, it probably doesn't bother any of you much at all, really, it's a small thing, but perhaps some of you do feel like the experience "pile up" a bit before you can use them, that it takes quit a while. Just thinking of it mathematically, just for sake of example let's say the typical Cock Hero session is 40 minutes (I know, many if not most are much longer, this is deliberately conservative), and let's say, and here perhaps this is way atypical, I have no idea, that one is having to edge out or lose the beat on average halfway through, on average, many times, so the accumulating experience doesn't kick in until after perhaps 100 minutes of play (the 5 experience levels that don't yet allow for a bennie). Now, as I say, it's kind of a small thing but I notice it. And I'm into game theory and think that's a lot of time to see the currency as solely an investment, especially when let's say - and I think this is a VERY good example - I may feel that my VERY LAST GO was a failure ONLY due to a silly flub I won't repeat.
I was going to make a parenthetical comment above about why I bet that the average time before people edge out or lose the beat (which I suspect is often from distraction from the visuals) is often later than halfway, as the very last rounds I think are often brilliantly tough and exciting, or I think we can all agree that's where the pace gets tough. And that's important - we shouldn't change Cock Hero's design, IMHO, to alter that pace!
So all above taken, I figured how can one feel that gaining the currency is useful earlier yet how do we keep that balanced so that people aren't just blazing through and ruining the pace unduly? At least, in other words, let's keep that idea that you REALLY earn something with experience. I know with the especially difficult one (sorry I can't off-hand recall which, I"ll try to check and post here what it was or better yet find that thread and say) the experience became really a big deal and I liked that it had important currency. So the below basically allows you to use experience much earlier BUT STILL keeps it being VERY valuable currency, I think/hope. I'm starting to use it with Grace Glam one, and I'm still not sure at which point I'll spend early but I think I'll spend one if the next go doesn't do it or perhaps even in the next go if I'm finding I'm not quite so up somewhere in the first.
// END YAMMERING BACKGROUND
*****A HOUSE RULE POSSIBILITY FOR EXPERIENCE*****
FAST FORWARD
1 Single Experience Level can be used (perhaps at a loss, see below) can be used to forward 2 minutes ONLY up to the end of the current round (yes you might take it when the round starts to dive in 2 minutes into it) IF AND ONLY IF you have NEVER gone out in this round before (yes, this does perhaps introduce a bit of "bookkeeping" except I really think people remember this off-hand; I always do).
If this is used when you have less than 11 experience levels, you LOSE a level.
As an addition to this house rule, but then you are into house-keeping (but, yes, I keep these notes myself, anyway, even before I thought of this rule), you can spend 2 Experience Levels to use this ability in a round that you went out on once before, but only once. (And maybe you don't need house-keeping, maybe you can just remember that, too; not sure if I would)
Cock Hero Experience Variation (house rule suggestion)
Re: Cock Hero Experience Variation (house rule suggestion)
PS and update re open point -
open point - yeah, it was Vindicare's Chapter 6. Way to end that first series!!!
I think the above rule is basically good for anywhere you have a scene you're not into but with some game constraint to ensure you don't just use it anytime (losing an experience level completely is kinda a big deal, I think - comments will show if I'm alone or what).
Also one important background note and this may or may not matter re gameplay and style. My style is not perfectionist, I want to be clear. When I say I get through them as much as I do, I TOTALLY admit I use them more for, ahem, amusement than gaming, exactly. But I really want that gaming element there, sure! So mainly what I mean here is I do go "by the book" (taking my 3rd spin through the most recent one shortly), but for me I don't feel my strokes have to be that right-on and an occasional single beat flub is okay. now, I really respect that if we had some official tournament (an arousing, entertaining, and/or disgusting thought, just depending on one's POV...) that one might say that's not good enough or "you," whoever you are Internet critic, may say this is Very Bad Indeed and The End Of The Game As We Know It, and, on a more serious note, I respect this may not be the rules' intent (I'm not clear myself how exact the rules desire, but I think that's good, being up to individual interpretation, no strict dictate).
So along those lines, one may say that my optional house rule approach above takes away from that perfectionism. I dig that. This rule would not be for you. And remember I'm NOT suggesting it be an official rule.

I think this should have been under "The Art of Webteasing," but not sure...please feel free to move if an admin so notes...
