Annoying not teases!

Dear Milovana,

Lately the teases have been clogged with fools attempting to find doms/subs.
This is annoying, the place for this behaviour is in the forums.
I am wondering if it is possible that they can be deleted and offenders notified of this henious crime.

I am sure many are in favour.

I agree ... that being said, I think Milovana should continue to be inclusive and encourage people to produce teases. I for one am guilty of being a frequent user and a non-contributor. Something I hope to fix one of these days. But my point is, maybe someone will start out by posting a short tease in which they are seeking a dom or a sub, but this might give them the confidence to post a lengthier tease that actually contributes something meaningful to the community.

There is just no excuse for someone to post such a non-tease. The web is full of ways in which one can search for a dom. It is just an annoyance to all the rest of us. It is easy to see from the ratings when such a posting occurs. But I hope that people can respect the basic premise behind this site and post appropriately.

1:doesnt know what a webtease is for
2:actually thinks they will get a domme from that no-effort crap
3:spams and generally brings down the quality of this site
4:wastes everyones valuable wanking time

Deserves no encouragement whatsoever :P


The fact that these non-teases are published and they stay up seems to invite other people to post their own. I hate to see webteases get deleted, but this really is just spam so...

Sorry for my directness... But I don't understand your "stories with pictures" called "teases" at all. Let's ask admins to create a special forum thread with pictures, ha? Start with yourself first, and I think, many people would be glad to take an example.

And one again, Milovana has to change. Many great people go so don't push more of them out with such activity...

Have you ever stopped to check the actual *TITLE* of the webtease page? It's Free stories with sexy pictures. That is, by sheer definition, exactly what cactusman is publishing.

Let's discuss this definition with other people over here. Tease is interactive (stroke, don't stroke, hands off, remember, choose, pick one of many), story is not (only phantasy can be involved).

What makes Milovana different from, for example, Literotica (there are stories with pictures too)? Google for "stories with pictures" and for "Webteases" - I am sure you'll understand me.

I just believe that Milovana would be better with a strict structure (we must give exact definitions for tease and story. Definitions are fundamental things for every structuring), maybe several directions or ways to tease. Bonds are wiped more and more every day. This is not the right way to develop a wide community.

I have been a big supporter of having any webtease that includes an e-mail address in the tease
and is expressly written to obtain subby information and/or Dom/Domme attention
removed from this site. I still am of this option, even though at the moment, there are not many of them
currently being written
I have talked at great length with those who actually administer this site. ...
this site was created from OD.com and the original, classic teases where often short, as the site grew. It has changed some over the years but it is important that people are able to add content. Administration have made it very clear that there is a LOT of room to tinker, and write within the content of a webtease.
Because of this, to the best of my knowledge all teases stay even if some of us, or even many of use do not define a certain group..as teases.
Freedom of expression is VERY important, weather those of us who are part of this site agree or not
it looks like "request" teases will stay.

For non-commercial single postings however, I have no interest whatsoever to enforce a particular notion of what a webtease is. This site is a hosting platform, not an editorial blog. We aim to provide authors with decent tools to make and publish teases. Whatever they want to put in there is none of my business as long as they don't break the law.

I really dont see how cactusmans stories are detrimental to this site, he actually puts effort into them, and they get high ratings which means people must like them. if people like something, they will visit again, therefore they will join the community, maybe add some teases of their own, etc etc... therefore its can only be beneficial.

Maybe if you want to see more 'real' teases, then you should write some of your own.

Its not the same as these single page no-effort adverts which was the topic of the thread. I think they might stop people visiting if all they see is personal ads on the front page.

this site was created expressly for the purpose of allowing people to add content they felt was important
and was sharing the kinks of those who had been a part of Orgasmdenial.com
It is hard to find the classic teases.. that once were linked to this site.. some people have saved them if your interested you could ask.. Some where good, many I felt were not.
but "good' or "bad" was not the point, the point was to create a community that allowed people to express there Kinky self without much 'editing'

But remember It does Cost money to keep a website going, most people do not 'pay' money to do this

But unless you are willing to pay for your own site to be established
create an account that pays for the monthly bills
consult a lawyer on how to deal with the complicated rules of "censorship' within the country and area you establish the site. And Allows people to post stuff they want to post
add in the expense of a chat server
with all the bells and whistles such as games, a drawing board
and you start to understand how committed the original administration people were (and I believe are to this site.

We Have a community that has the freedom to do so.
Just TRY and find another site.. ANYWHERE that has what this site does. they are very, VERY few and are constantly under attack of "censorship" police

That was really funny, ha-ha..... I am a programmer and that is why like structures. You can't build a good house (web project) without brick structuring (chat, forum, stories, teases, bets, toys, shop)....

Way to go down the wrong track

I agree that "non teases" can be annoying clutter, but lets face it - it's hardly so much of a showstopper for the real purpose of this site as many like to make it out to be. It's an annoyance, not the end of the world.

The agenda of having milovana be a content neutral site acting as a place holder for creative work is far more important. Fortunately, seraph0x has very sensible views on this, with never moderating any content based on taste or opinion, short of law violations or breaking site rules.


In fact, Lucky here is a perfect example of the attitude no one needs: "My definition of what a tease is and isn't is the global Truth everyone else should live by". No thanks!

A tease is whatever the author makes it to be. Don't like it? Don't read! Not that hard really.

When the signal to noise ratio gets too bad I agree it can become a problem, but again, you need to keep in mind that what YOU consider noise may not be a definition or opinion shared by everyone else.

Wow. This is really disappointing. I was trying to do something positive about the 1 page advertisments as teases (my badgirlsblog challenge) and trying to point out other threads about this topic, and then Lucky hijacks this thread for a personal attack on me and my work. Not what I expected...

Many of the classic OD teases were essentially stories with pictures. And even the kinds of teases that have lots of video links and lots of instructions (stroke 100 times while you read the rest of this) tend to have some (thin) story that links the pages together. As to teases that emphasize the story more, I don't think it takes a genius to know what to do with them. But for people who have little imagination, I now have something on page one of all my original teases that says that you "play along" by stroking when that happens to is is being done by the main character ("you") in the story. So I think even some readers who couldn't figure out how to masturbate to them (what else are they doing here?) should be able to get it. But if that doesn't float your boat, then fine -- don't read them. As Indigo said, my teases seem to be well received, and I in fact won TOTM for last month.

And, alas, it's so predictable, but when I look to see how many teases that you have written, Lucky, I find, surprise!, it's zero. Let's see you do better than my output, and then you can tell me what a tease is.

And furthermore, it's not easy to categorize art works. I think it would be very difficult to get people to agree on what is a story tease and what is not. In any case, getting people to do agree would lead to endless and fruitless arguments.

In short, you are way off base.
