Has the internet reduced the sexual frustration of men?

Post by Human »

So many pictures and videos of beautiful ladies available to us; I know that I would be severely sexually frustrated in the absence of the internet. Is porn keeping the male mind healthier?

I kinda think it's a bad thing. Not that I don't fully enjoy it. I think I would have alot more sex with my wife if didn't look at porn. Its so easy to just surf the net and bust your load anytime you want that it can replace some of your sex life just because it's so much easier.

The smh article paints a pretty dark view of porn. I wouldn't dispute the facts they claim. But, the article is definitely one sided. Their description of people addicted to porn has not been my experience. For example, I don't feel the need to degrade or dominate women, I can have an orgasm just fine with my wife without having to imagine porn images I've seen, and, while I have spent some money on porn, I'm guessing it's less than a few hundred dollars in approximately 20 years. Does this mean I represent the minority of men that look at porn, or is the article just trying to scare people?

+1

Like in any activity --- sports, music, tv, video games, chatting, there is a segment that is negatively affected/addicted. Dont drag the rest of us into it. I dont find the need to degrade women, if anything, I like femdom porn, or femjoy/digital desire kind of porn which celebrate the female body.

Definetly, i don't enjoy porn as much any more since it's so readily available. The female body isn't as entrancing either, even though i enjoy females of course. However, i don't think this is a bad thing. In a lot of ways i think it's a good thing, it takes the desperation out of dating etc. The person who wrote the article had obviously made their mind up in advance, and i don't identify with it at all.
