I'm working on a Flash tease with lots of hidden timers.
My own most comfortable stroking speed is quite fast; something between 2 and 3 a second. I know most people prefer slower. I'd appreciate any replies about what for you is a reasonable speed to expect a tease to get you stroking at, for extended periods- say over twenty minutes to half an hour.
100 strokes a minute? 80? 60? 40?
Another issue is how frequently (how many times an hour of stroking) you would expect to need a break, to pee, to look away, or just to rest the hand and dick.
All helpful feedback will inform the design of my new tease....
As I have suggested before in other discussions as well (mainly regarding red light/green light type teases), the pace and/or durations should be somewhat user configurable. Not necessarily down to detail, but at least a general option of "fast", "medium", "slow" or similar, to reflect what kind of pace vs. duration you can take.
I know that some people think that goes against the idea of being told what to do without change to intervene, but lets face it - sitting at home people can always cheat when doing teases if they like. My idea is that people will cheat less often and have more benefit from teases if they can be adopted to a level that suits them. And this goes both ways - both making the tease hard enough to be fun, as well as making it possible (something that is utterly beyond reach is usually not much fun either)
Especially for red/green light teases, where the idea is for the stroking periods to be short enough to make cumming difficult or impossible, such user customization is required to make the tease challenging at all.
The same can be said for regular/duration stroking, since the level people can take varies a lot.
I like to believe most people welcome a challenge more than a walk in the park, while at the same time the challenge needs to be realistic and not completely impossible. Since people are so different, that means customization for the win :D
And to conclude, I'll answer the question directly (based on not having any customization options at all):
When it comes to what is comfortable, I find stroking pace not to be very relevant. Both slow and fast can be both comfortable and fun. When it comes to what pace I can take over time, that too varies a great deal, all depending on whether or not forced to edge now and then (which makes it harder), whether or not having to watch a hot video, how exciting the tease dialogue is, how hot the girl in the tease is, etc etc. In short, how arousing the tease is, overall. If I get into the right mode I can keep a high pace for literally hours (until getting physically sore becomes a problem, even while well lubed), while on other days/other teases I can get far too well teased to stand any much stroking at all - even a minute at decent pace can be hard.
Probably not very helpful, but a few thoughts anyway.
Well, around 120 is fine, can even be a bit faster, 180 can be too fast, depending on how horny I am and how much edging and other teasing the tease contains.
Everything below 60 is much to slow, it will get boring, even below 90 isn't really fun for a long time.
If you can, you really should make it a choice.
That will make the tease 3 times (for 3 different speeds) as long though. But if you write it once and then just copy it and change the speeds it should be easy.
I would do it like that: write a tease and start each page name and sound file name with something like _slow_
Then you can just search and replace _slow_ by _medium_ and _fast_ and copy it all back to the tease editor.
You might have to upload some soundfiles multiple times with different names, but that shouldn't be a big deal.
About the breaks: I don't think I would need any if it is for one hour. You should tell the reader, that the tease is very long and that he should go to the toilet first, but that's all. If it is longer, you might add a break and leave it to the reader (or put a timer there like 10 minutes and a button to skip the break).
Wow, user customisation; hadn't thought of that.
I wonder if it's possible to put multipliers in the timers in nyx?
Very possible
you can either have the person click a button what there speed is
OR have fun and have them pick blindly.
I do know that in chat
different people use different paces for Slow/ Medium/ Fast
BUT
you can still force someone to do a pace
and say, hey that is what I am setting it up as!
forcing the person to do a set speed know it may be medium for som, slow for others
and possibly fast for a few people as well.
