Chastity Devices and "growers"
Chastity Devices and "growers"
Hello,
english ain't my native language, and as far as I know can cocks be categorized into 'growers' and 'showers'. Showers show how long they are when they are flaccid, and only get stiff, while growers grow 3-5 times from flaccid to stiff. (very short description, google the long version! )
Well my problem is I have a grower, and a 'big' grower.
(*calculates into inches*)
Okay I grow from about 1,2 inches flaccid, to 5,5 inches stiff. The width also increases, from about half an inch to a full inch (estimates).
The real good thing about it is, while flaccid I have NO problems packing him away into anything :).
But I was wondering about buying a CB, but I can imagine I can very easily pull my cock out while it's flaccid. And buying a full CB (around waist and everything) is not an option, too expensive and too exposed.
So I was wondering if anyone with a grower had experiences with CBxxxx series, or bon4, or birdlock, or all the other cockcages, and if anyone of them is secure, even for a grower.
And NOOO I don't want to get a prince albert piercing to make it secure! I read about that somewhere. Out of the question! :)

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I am pretty much in the same position, Pete.
Flaccid, I'm two inches. Erect I'm almost six and really girthy. (My wife describes my cock as "fat and thick.")
I too have posted questions here about chastity devices and their practical usefulness.
Some people claim that they work just fine. Others describe them -especially things like the CB6000 etc., as a toy that anybody can get out of if they try.
Others have said -and this makes obvious sense- that because all men are different re: their dick and balls, no two experiences with a chastity device will be the same.
You seem to suggest that because you're a "grower" rather than a "shower" a simple chastity device won't work for you. -That's my concern as well.
And there's no way I would consider a handmade chastity belt/cage costing thousands of dollars, much less a Prince Albert piercing.
I'm a non-swimmer who's just trying to stick his toe in the water...not do a triple back-flip off the high board!

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I bought a CB-6000 a week ago and I've already given up with it. I too am what you would call a 'grower', but my issue isn't with being able to escape, it's getting the bloody thing on!
First off, the biggest ring is too small for me, which is a real pain because no one seems to make a chastity device with a ring bigger than 50mm. I don't have a particularly fat cock, but the base is obviously quite substantial!! (What use is that to anyone?).
Secondly, I couldn't get my cock in the stupid thing either, even with lube. Not only that but the whole thing is not as 'smooth' as I'd hoped and it's incredibly easy to trap skin and hair in the various joins. If I try anything else it will be the birdlock because at least that is made of something soft.

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
Thanks for sharing your opinions.
I also fear that if I bought something like the CB6000 I just couldn't get the damn thing on. My dick is thick, and as a matter of fact, my whole body is built that way.
Also, I am quite hairy. -And my wife refuses to let me shave anything but my face! (Once, I shaved my balls and 'manscaped' around my groin...and she complained about it for months.
)
Others have said here, and I think they must be right, that if you're really serious about chastity, something handmade of steel is the way to go. (Provided you're willing to spend the money.)
Something like a Prince Albert I would not consider under any circumstances. (Yikes!)

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I recently purchased the cb-2000. I was new to chastity devices as well. I read up on a few and found complaints on some of them being easy to escape from. The reason I chose the cb-2000 was that it came with multiple rings and offered the points of intrigue which helps for a snugger fit at the base of your cock. Trying to escape from it with the points in which come in three different sizes could potentially be a painful situation let alone trying to get back in. Something you don't wanna try if you have someone who is your keyholder. It also doesn't completely enclose your cock which allows for air to circulate which helps against bacteria and leaves room for growers as you put it. Plus it's relatively inexpensive. Good luck and happy hunting!

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I have some questions for you -if you don't mind answering them.
1. How long have you been wearing the device?
2. Can you wear it 24/7? (While sleeping, wearing clothes, jogging, etc.?) Does it pinch?
3. Have you found that it is impossible to escape from?
4. I've heard that the "points of intrigue" feature will basically stop you from getting an erection -or you'll experience some pain and your erection will subside. Any experience with this aspect of the device?
5. Why, other than price, would you buy the CB2000, when most people consider the CB3000 and CB6000 to be real improvements on the older models?
6. Would you recommend this product to others?
By the way, I love your avatar. -Very nice.

I have a CB6k and I can answer some of those.
1) longest I've worn mine is 4 days (wife isn't interested in Long term denial! )
2) only problems I ran in to was morning wood (alleviate that by NOT drinking within several hours of going to bed). other than that I could swim, ride my bike, do basically whatever. Didn't try jogging mostly because of an old ankle surgery.
3) if my life depended on it I might be able to slip out
4)no POIs for the CB6k
5) um...
6) sure!

Here are my experiences with it so far in regards to your questions.peckersnot wrote:I have some questions for you -if you don't mind answering them.

1. With the exception of being let out for some playtime, it's been on for a week straight right now. My longest amount of time wearing it without taking it off has been around 30 hours or so.
2. I have worn it sleeping it takes a little getting used to sleeping on your stomach with it on, clothes need to be a little more loose fitting in the front needless to say. Jogging takes a little getting used to as does just wearing it period does. I haven't had any problems with it pinching once it's been locked on. I have been pinched a couple of times trying to get it back on after play.
3. I'm not sure if it is completely impossible to escape from. It would be quite painful to escape. I haven't been willing to risk scratch marks running along my cock to fully test that theory. At least not yet!
4. I haven't tried the longest set of points yet. I wouldn't say it's too painful. I have experienced erections with the points in and actually found it somewhat pleasurable. Depends if you are into a little pain I suppose. I imagine it's all part of the experience being under lock and key.
5. & 6. It's the only chastity device I have ever had so I can't really compare it to the other two. I just didn't want a device that just about completely encased me. The cb-3000 & cb-6000 require alot more cleaning and are more susceptible to bacteria with extended wearing from what I read. I might try one of the two sometime in the future but being new chastity I didn't want to go all in just yet. I must say I am thoroughly enjoying it so far.
Hope this is some help to you. Hopefully someone a little more experienced can give a more detailed comparision. And thanks for the compliment on the avatar. Yours is pretty badass as well snot.

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I'm a grower too. I've had a CB6k for since thursday and have been wearing it most of the time since then.
The ring problem mentioned above I thought I was having, but after using the biggest ring, i acutally went down a size. Still experimenting with the right combo. The largest ring eventually did allow for me to slip out when things shrunk too far, even a ball slipped out. I found you just need to work at getting the balls and cock away from the body more and you can get the ring around the base easier. Of course, it depends on how much give you have.
Aside from just getting the spacing issues sorted, the real problem has been bathroom issues. You have to clean the inside afterward with a q-tip or something, so being in public can be a bit of a problem, if nature calls. This always isnt the case. In fact a few times I was able to pee standing up, but it can get messy. The real issue though with being a grower is if you shrink back in the cage and then things shift, you can't easily adjust to not have a bit of a mess on your hands, or you can wait till things shift, which may or may not happen.
I think solving the combination issue will help with the urination problems, or at least hope. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying it and haven't had any other problems (no sleeping issues or anything else).

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
You don't want the rings too loose. Snug but not tight.
Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
I've tried the Curve and CB3000 - Grower here too though with a bit longer flaccid penis. You will find that a failed erection attempt on the CB3000 will cause your foreskin (if you have one) to be left sticking out the end - very painful when rubbing on anything. I found it unusable. No problems with the Curve at least in this area but it is too bulky for long term wear.
So this for the Curve (with CB2000 solid rings):
1. How long have you been wearing the device? - Max 5 days but could have had longer
2. Can you wear it 24/7? (While sleeping, wearing clothes, jogging, etc.?) Does it pinch? - No comfort problems but obvious bulge.
3. Have you found that it is impossible to escape from? - Not impossible but hard enough to not attempt it.
4. I've heard that the "points of intrigue" feature will basically stop you from getting an erection -or you'll experience some pain and your erection will subside. Any experience with this aspect of the device? - None
5. Why, other than price, would you buy the CB2000, when most people consider the CB3000 and CB6000 to be real improvements on the older models? - For shorter flaccid penis, less visibility.
6. Would you recommend this product to others? - None of the ones that I have used.
I think I will try the Exobelt Extreme next - if I do I will review here.

Been using the CB2K off/on for a while, and here's my two cents.peckersnot wrote:I have some questions for you -if you don't mind answering them.

1. Longest was about 9 days or so. Had some complications resulting in being unable to wear it at work.
2. Yes and no. The one thing that stopped 24/7 use was that I found it impossible to ride a bicycle.
My balls kept getting caught between the saddle and the B-ring; and while I'm not adverse to a little CBT I use a bicycle at work, and having my balls crushed continuously for 5 hours straight is perhaps a bit much.
3. Haven't tried. This is the one question that has always eluded me.
If you're (presumably) locked into this voluntarily, why would you try to escape?
To me, the CB is there to stop the spur-of-the-moment impulses. I mean, if you really wanted to escape, you could simply cut the lock-bar with a pair of wire-cutters.
4. PoI's don't stop erections. Unfortunately.
It induces pain which makes the erection go away, and after a little while your dick seems to get the message. Except for those pesky nocturnal ones.
Plan on being woken several times at night for the first week or so at least.
5. Well, there's the matter of hygiene. Easier to clean a CB2K AFAIK.
And besides, the cage design just looks damn cool.
6. Yes, for play. If you want serious chastity, I'd recommend something like the KTB e.g.
But that one's pricey, and insanely harsh on involuntary erections, so maybe not for beginners.

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
Okay I'm going to toss my 2 cents in
I recently got a CB-6000
I have to use the largest base ring
but my real problem is ftting in it, I'm a little wide too
I have to be really, really flacid to get in.
I have not worn it for 24hours yet, still trying it out
I'm a bit older, in my 40's
so my biggest problem was urinating.
I was so squeesed in, I had to build up a lot to really go
also I drip, the cage catces a little inside unless you fill it.
I got nervous after I peed and I was also leaking cum like clear liquids
So I think I need a wider one, sigh Which means To do long term, I would have to really invest
to go for serious long term
Inspite of all this I have enjoyed the chastity experience with my CB
but I am not quite to serious long term yet

Re: Chastity Devices and "growers"
Thank you all for these interesting and informative responses.
I'm not sure that I want or need a chastity device for myself...let's see if I can meet my masturbatrix's challenge of not cumming for a week just by keeping my hands off my dick.
Based on the information that many of you have shared here, I don't think any of these plastic cock-cages would really work for me.

Wow quite a few responses :)
Thank you!
And from the answers i can deduct that cockcage CBs are sometimes fun, othertimes a real hassle, but security isn't a given.
