To All Tease Writers:

Post by BoredOMK17 »

This is a comma: ,
This is a period: .

Commas are used when you want the reader to pause.
Try reading your teases out loud in your natural voice.
If you pause at all, try to put a comma where you do.
Also, if your finishing a sentence, its a good idea to put a period.

Otherwise you get teases that really suck They are very annoying Personally they completely pull me out of the mood You should try to use proper grammar no matter what your writing for Otherwise the reader will have a hard time understanding your works And it will look like you took no time on the tease at all So hopefully you all can try to use commas and periods unlike this fucked up paragraph right here

I really appreciate that you all are giving to the community.
I also understand that for some of you there are language barriers.
But if this helps ONE tease writer to begin to use commas and periods, I'll feel accomplished.

Have a good day.

I agree. Please take your time when writing a tease and don't mess up with a good idea because of bad grammar or spelling.

Note: I don't have a clue how to use commas in the English language, so I guess this doesn't count for me. :-P

One thing that can really help is to write out your text in Word or another text editor - they are all pretty good at both spell checks and grammar checks and will show you right away if there are any issues. Then just cut and paste into the tease editor.

I even do that if I'm writing a long post in the forums just to avoid the same problems.

It's definitely a valid point, bad grammar can ruin a tease for me.

A tease based around an English class would be good, with a nice teacher ;) It could start by covering basic grammar and then have tests. Reading a paragraph for example and then clicking a button to highlight how many grammar errors there were etc. It could be a good way to highlight the issue and help solve it at the same time as I think more people are more likely to read the teases than the forum posts.

Here is what you do
Do 10 strokes for every speeling mistake
and 5 ball smacks for all punctiation errors

This will help improve your appreciation of any
teases you didnt like
Such as Submatts tease

If this does not work
try my tease
Hard as a Rock :-P

Inotherwords ... Come-on maaan!
if you truely can not live without perfect grammer
than ask the author, and help them edit the tease
(I actually did this once as All2true)
http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtease.php?id=1972

P.S. if you check forums for this tease
you will see people wanted it the original way with the errors
all2true
is my other profile. see my chastity belt link :

The tease to teach grammar has been done at least once, maybe twice. I seem to remember one of them was a pretty decent flash tease, but can't be bothered to find them right now.

And how much time did you spend proofreading the teases you've written?

Why don't you show us how it's done and write a really awesome tease instead of whining about how you didn't get to enjoy your wacking off time because yet another tease didn't meet your approval?

I say, "KUDOS!" to anyone who has put forth an effort and taken the time to write something with a simple intention- that the rest of us enjoy it. Thank You, Tease-Writers!

For sure, commas are important, they emphasise the control of what is being spoken, in the case of teasing, the dominant person. They add anticipation and fear.

When I was working on my tease I was scared to death that I would post my tease and make one of the talked about mistakes, which could ruin the tease for someone. I was very nervous, but pushed through it :)
