I'd suggest building yourself up to it. Try edging once in the morning, then doing nothing until evening. If that's too much, shorten it. Edge, wait an hour or something, then go. Once you can handle that, start extending the time frame, increasing the number of edges, etc. A little at a time until you're used to it, then increase again.
Alternately, get yourself a chastity device. Freeze the key in an ice cube or suspended in a glass or something similar. Then edge, stop, lock on the belt. Now you have no choice but to wait until you can get the key out of the ice. (No breaking it either, it has to melt. Wouldn't want to risk breaking the key.)

i have been into edging for over twenty years and it takes practice to get to long term denial without an someone there to help you.
maybe you can try to set a time, like 10pm and not cum before it, and if you make it to 10 either reward yourself by jacking off to orgasm and stopping right as you start cumming or try to go a little longer like 10:30pm.
another, although i little harder (no pun intended) might be to commit to a certain number of times you are going to edge before jacking off to orgasm. maybe inbetween edgings, try to do something non-sexual to calm you down. also set a time, like 10 minutes between starting again.

Well, an answer to almost every psychological and physical problem is breathing. It is amazing how it helps! While edging you have to breathe profound but slowly. After (or already during) edging you visual-ise while breathing in, how your sexual energy is going up along the colon up to your head (to the fon-tanel). Pull it up.
