How do I paste into (Script) tab and save it?

I made backups of my Flash Tease scripts.
I lost all the pages again so I closed out Nyx. Shut down browser (Mozilla) and tried to restore with nyx again using the Script tab by pasting from my .txt file.

The pages showed up under visual and I reuploaded all the media with exactly the same file names for each as in the orginal.
Under the visual tab it shows all the pictures correctly on each page but when I try to publish it, the tease is empty.

I have tried saving each and every page down the list. Nothing.
Tried saving directly on the script tab. Nothing
Tried saving directly on Visual tab. Nothing.

I don't get it.

Can anyone help? THis is the fourth time I have tried to put together this tease. It has 74 pages.

You only need to hit Save once: On the Script tab right after you paste the code into the box.

Obviously, before you paste it in there, you wanna make sure the box is empty so you don't end up with a concoction of two scripts.

Does the tease show when you go to the Preview tab?

Nothing shows up if I go from pasteing the Script into the script tab to Preview.

I have pasted it into the Script tab and clicked Save. The screen turns white for a couple seconds.

Does that mean it has saved the script?

(I just responded to your PM, but I'll provide the same answers here for other people's benefit.)

Sorry to say that was unnecessary. The script is saved completely independently from the tease media. So whether you just clear out the script and hit Save or whether you create a new tease and reupload everything will not make a difference.

Probably there is something in your script such as a syntax error or a rogue quotation mark or something to that effect. Maybe this is also what has caused the script to be deleted in the first place.

I've asked you to mail me the script to [email protected] . I'll have a look though and figure out what's tripping Nyx up.

I reiterate again: To paste the script you just need to paste the script once and hit Save. If it's not working then most likely there is something wrong with the script. A wrong parenthesis, a stray dot... Nyx uses a very simple parser that can be tripped up by fairly minor syntax errors. The new system we're currently working on will be able to detect and warn about most syntax errors so you know where the problem is.

Resent it and made sure to attach the .txt file I made as a backup.

Got your mail. It turned out that the script was quite big in terms of bytes because of the formatting tags that the visual editor generates. The solution was to raise the server-side limit for POST variables.

You should be able to save your tease from now on.
