second, has anyone seen The Watchmen. In my opinion the movie was terrible.

Yeah, I've seen a couple of them, but a good number of years ago. As I recall they have that strange choppy editing style that some porn uses and are generally hot but kinda specific in a way that didn't match my tastes precisely.

Watchmen I didn't think was terrible. It certainly got a lot of things wrong, not least of which were the godawful painfully obvious musical cues (99 luftballons? really? you couldn't find anything just a touch less literal for communicating cold war paranoia?) But I also generally enjoyed it and thought somethings were spot on, most notably Jackie Earle Haley's fantastic performance as Rorschach. Surprisingly, I thought the change to the ending made sense and worked. What didn't you like in particular?
