updating tags

Do you think Milovana.com is perfect in every way? Hopefully not, so what can we do to improve? Every idea, suggestion or criticism is highly appreciated.

updating tags

Post by loki »

Who can update tags on the webteases? Several (if not most) have no, too short, or slightly wrong tags. Should I PM the author and see if they still exist? If they don't respond who should I contact then?

Thanks,

How about correcting typographical errors in the title too? For example, one tease has "masterbating" instead of "masturbating"; and the 10 Days of Denial teases spells "Denial" as "Denail" for the 9th tease/day.

If you see such in any of mine, let me know. :-)

Im not too bothered by spelling mistakes in titles but thats just me...
As for tags, it would be cool if other users could tag everyones teases. i think its been suggested before.

although its hard to search by tags now, the old trick of searching by a common tag then changing the name in the search bar to an uncommon tag doesnt seem to work anymore. or is that just me? or does that even make any sense?

My only point on typographical errors is that you have to misspell a word to find a tease with a misspelled word. You don't have to search by tags. You can now search for a word in the title or even a word within the tease itself. If you search "denial", you will not find the 9th tease by the Days of Denial author, though a search of the author's teases will turn it up. But, if an author has only done one tease, you may never find it, as in the one that uses "masterbating" in the title or uses "masterbate" within the title or tease.

Accuracy in the tags can help, but the tags are actually limited in scope as compared to the "simple search". Tags are based upon interests only. If you want to search for "chastity" teases, that's an "interest", which comes from the tags. If you want to search for "cuckold" teases, only the "simple search" does it, but it will not find the ones where the word has been misspelled as "cuckhold".

I understand that accuracy in tags is a preview for the reader and my focus has been on the search function.

Please note that I am really not bothered by misspellings. They often add to the tease. Despite my editorial skills, I can usually read through those typos without shaking my head. :-)

Agreed. I just wanna comment that it's very possible that one day the search engine will be smart enough to cope with some simple misspellings. :-)
