And now i`m proudly announce my first work to you - CH INTERMARIUM

This will have a torrent file, u need to prepare 20 GB space on your disk for 3+ hour long 1080 video

Hey! It's always great to see long time lurkers deciding to create and share their own projects!

One potential issue tho - 20 gigs seems little bit too large even for me and I'm perhaps known for overkill rendering teplate settings.
This could largely limit the amount of people who will actually check out and watch all that hard work you've put into your video.

My suggestion is going for two pass, variable bitrate and at most 8Mbps average + let's say 24Mbps max.
Some might say that even this is a little bit of an overkill, but it will result at about 10GB per 3 hours of video without any noticable quality loss.

Not sure which software you are using but here is my personal Vegas rendering template for CH Replay. You could probably go even lower.

Softcore we need more, it`s real art to do videos like yours

Even just 5 Mbps should suffice for 1080p. The loss in quality will be tiny and most people will never notice

I will agree with most others here and say the size is a huge limiting factor and you will probably want to try to re-encode it smaller so people check it out more. I will also say in addition to the torrent making a mega download for it would also increase interest in your project as the number of people who can get it would increase a lot (if you do just break the video up into a few pieces that are less than 5gb and have those in the mega for easier downloading due to bandwidth limits from mega).

[Doremi's handbrake instructions work wonderfully btw and I highly recommend you check it out as a way to decrease size]

Looking forward to this! Others say 20GB is too much but rather get my hands on it than not haha.

What a tease though, no mention of estimated release date. =P
