I'm thinking of making a list of teases that are more of a type of game than an interactive story/visual novel. I tend to like those due to the player agency that it allows for. I also just find those more fun because of the multi-tasking element. Games are fun. Hot chicks are fun. Hot chicks and games = more fun
We all know strip-poker is the classic sexual game, but what else counts as a "game" or "gamey" mechanic?
On the obvious side we have teases like fapjack. Clear rule set, clear definition of a game-state, clear win/loss states, etc. The outcome of a win-loss state in the blackjack game progresses the tease and has an associated activity. Importantly, the player has a choice which changes the game state. Another clear example would be something like The Fortune Teller. You play cards to try and make a set by playing a card, you get the set and a win state happens, tease progresses, etc. Quiz type games (Math on the Edge) also count quite obviously.
Mini-game centric type of ordeals (thinking of 10,000,000 edges and Succubi Horde) also count! In these games there some sort of goal that the player has to achieve by doing a set of tasks which are clearly defined. Narrative is really secondary to trying to get the win-state and reward.
A more video-gamey example would be the Hero Corruption. Again, there are rules, the player makes choices. The outcome of those game-related choices progress the tease.
Trials of the Succubi is one of those super, super hard cases. I'm on the fence about it. I'd be tempted to call it a game. Reason being: you have a health bar, you make choices, there are clear win and loss states. The player makes choices, etc. It is less obviously a game because the story masks the game mechanics a bit, however, I don't find it to be that much different than the previously mentioned Hero Corruption. It's a video-gamey type of game in many ways!
A less obvious "game" (and this could be debated due to no player agency) would be something like snakes and ladders. Again, clear rule rules, the player has a given game-state, there is a win state, etc. HOWEVER, there is no real player agency here. Roulette games also fall into this category. FOR MY PURPOSES, THIS COUNTS Self-Censor Game also counts: its a push your luck type of game where you make choices which could lead to a win or a fail state (if memory serves correctly). Cruel countdowns also counts in my opinion for similar reasons, although I'd probably be easily convinced to being agnostic about some of these sorts of teases quite easily... again, this type of thing counts
Something like the more recent S.P.Y. Edge of Danger is, in fact, an edge case. On one hand there are branching paths and the player does have choices. There are clear win and fail states, etc. HOWEVER, I wouldn't qualify this as a "game" so much as a more traditional visual novel with branching storyline. ANYTHING LIKE THIS DOES NOT COUNT!
THUS:
1) Do you have favorite gamey teases?
2) Does anyone have a list of gamey teases?
3) What search terms should I use to compile a more complete list?
4) Are there more "narrative" style teases that have a game-element to them?
NEW/OLD interface doesn't matter. If I have to roll a die to do something, then it's probably going to be called a game, even if the computer doesn't do it for me.

WHEN IN DOUBT: IT IS A GAMEY TEASE! (I'm looking for some more content here, after all).

If anyone quotes Wittgenstein I might riot... yeah, yeah family resemblance joke is joke, and apologies for the edge and hard puns, I just couldn't resist.
