Hey there, ladies and gents of Milovana

As a learning CH creator there's always been some burning questions on my mind about what people like most in these videos.
Looking at what's popular and people explaining their top 10s gives some insight, but I figured I'd be better off to straight up ask you guys. So I made this survey: https://forms.gle/zHLCQgKs5zTWD8fp7

It's 16 questions, most of them fairly simple and short. On some you can only choose one anwser, on others multiple. Should none of the prewritten answers fit you can almost always answer "I don't care" or add your own. For the music and content questions feel free to add as many genres as you like that are missing. However, for the yes, no, maybe questions try to stick to the given options and only fill in a personal one if you really feel like they don't come close to your actual opinion.
I intend to compile the data into easily understandable visuals once enough people have taken the survey. In case any other creators maybe interested in the outcome.

To the question "What content do you like most?", maybe the Hardcore option could be subdivided more. Some like EROTIC, some like it MESSY, and some like it ROUGH.

To the question "What music do you like in CH videos?", not always sure which category it is. Perhaps make an example?

To the question "What's your opinion on music with vocals?", should perhaps make it a multiple choice and add ONLY FEMALE VOCAL.

Couldn't agree more . As someone who almost always prefers hardcore to softcore, it's not as much "whether or not" it's hardcore but "what kind of hardcore". Are we doing penetrative sex vs outercourse? Handjob teasing vs cowgirl?

However, I think "Erotic, Messy, Rough" would relate more to the section's theme as opposed to the flow of a single scene, as I would expect the song to kind of dictate that mood. For example, picking a Lana Del Ray song would feel erotic, whether it's flowing from oral teasing to passionate spoon-fucking, whereas picking Nicky Minaj guarantees a "rough" or "active/playful" feel throughout.

I don't really know how to break apart that question tbh. I don't want to apply an example that people can't relate to, but at the same time if I want to know musical preferences in regards to specific themes I would almost have to make a question for each theme individually. Because applying themes would lead to wildly different answers depending on the theme, so I guess this is just a general question about which music everyone likes lol

I've filled out your form, but I don't think you should care too much about the results. A cockhero is a creative piece of work, the different aspects just have to work together. It's like cooking a meal or making a movie based on a survey. Probably some companies out there even do that and it probably even has some success, but in the end, the results are always mediocre.

Personally, I would love to see more CHs using kinky, fetish, bdsm and femdom content, as there aren't many of those out there. But in the end there are great cockheros using all kinds of content, I sometimes like the softcore and sometimes the hardcore ones, I like the lesbian and the gang bang scenes. I don't listen to the music used for cockheros most of the time as I listen to mostly classical and some jazz music. But for CHs all kinds of genres are fine for me, and my preferred music would mostly not work well for stroking to it.

A good cockhero for me has to be challenging, so the beat has to be on the faster side and the beat patterns have to be varied enough to be challenging and surprising. Besides that, the stroke-patterns, the music and the editing just have to work together and create a flow. The editing can be fast or slow, you can use a lot or just a few scenes, you can use all kinds of styles, if you do it will, it will be great.

So probably you should do, what you think is great. Make the CH you think works best for you, because you will always be able to figure out, what does not work for you and want would make it more intense for you. And if it is perfect for you, it will be perfect for a lot of other people. If you make something, you do not really like, but you believe, other people might like because of some survey, you might just not hit perfection for anybody. You might tick a few boxes for some people, but it won't stand out for anybody.

Oh for sure, I completely agree with you! This applies to any kind of art really, but I feel like for cock hero editing especially. The process can already be tedious and take hours of collecting and downloading clips, finding music and making beat bars for it and sifting through all your material to find the right scenes BEFORE you even get into the real editing part. If I wasn't 100% in love with the music, porn and concept I'm working on, I would probably lose my mind halfway through editing and ditch it.
So yeah, I don't expect anybody to align their content to whatever the results of this poll may be, but it's very tempting to know nonetheless

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way I can share the live results page of the form, otherwise I would love to do that. That way everyone could always take a look at the most recent data. If there's ever a massive surge after I release the results I'll be sure update. So for now I think I'll wait a couple more days as anwers are still flowing in consistently

If there is something I would like to add that was hard to answer in the survey:
To me the most important part of a cock hero is that it is perceived as a coherent experience that makes you immersed and suspend disbelief.

So for me the important part is not a specific theme, or a specific recipe. But more how the elements of the theme, content, music and pacing all ties together.

As for the softcore vs hardcore debate. I think the community is in general split on this one. Where one part prefers mostly girls and teasing with minimal dicks. While another part (me included) prefers full on hardcore action. (with maybe one round of warmup)

Now there are not many anal focused cock heroes out there. So I took that upon myself to fix that

So in the same vein, if there is a niche YOU prefer, I would just go for filling out that.
