There are of course degrees of how close to the edge that you consider enough, and that will in turn affect how soon you are able to continue, but there has to be some amount of break after an edge.
You mention "seconds after", and that sounds like it might well be possible depending on how many seconds that is and the overall circumstances... Minutes would likely be way too long if the idea is to keep you extremely worked up.

In some cases I also wonder if the way things are designed is an oversight (much like what I read into your question), but do keep in mind that there are also varying degrees of intended difficulty, which will not suit everyone.


Either way, if a tease/video is otherwise fun but has some element that I don't agree with, I generally just "house rule" it. (Unless there is some actual competitive aspect, where you are supposed to just admit defeat when it gets too crazy).

Not sure if it's applicable to the teases/videos you're talking about, but in FapJack, the rest after edge gets shorter the further you progress as a way of increasing difficulty.

There are two types of edging afaik, when you literally one stroke from cumming and you need like 30sec - min to get down from it or when if you were to stroke one more time in the given timeframe you were cumming.
Like you are edging holding a steady 2 / sec speed if you were to stroke 1 more time before the sec ends, you would cumming.
Usually the second one that is required during these videos. I think this is much harder and depending on your mental state and the last time you came, it might not even be possible (at least this is how I perceive it).

So technically it is not impossible, until the stroke speed after edging is slower than the pace they you were edging with.

So basically if you were edging with the speed of 2 stokes / sec, if after edging the required speed is 1 stroke / sec probably you will be able to get down from edging and no issue there.. You might even be able to stroke 2/sec if you get a 5 sec gap.

This is definitely not easy since you usually more and more sensitive during edging, so if the stoking pace is higher than the speed that you are able to handle after the short gap, you are destined to cum.

Usually in these cases I keep edging until the next stop or until I can follow the beat or I just switch a much slower beat until I can follow instructions. (house rule)
