Tag searching problems

Post by cumhardy »

Ok, ive never been the best person when it comes to searching for stuff on the net but does anyone else have a problem searching using the tags?
What i mean is, when i go to search/filter and a list of tags comes up, it only comes up with a small number of popular ones. Is there a way to see a list off ALL tags including custom tags? The only way I have found of doing this in the past is to find a tease I know has that tag and then use that as a search.
Am I just being stupid here? Is there an easier way?

Also, perhaps there should be a way for people to add tags to other peoples teases.

I do it the way you mentioned...recently I was looking for an old tease that I recalled used Icy Hot . I searched "Icy Hot" and found no teases at all. The Icy Hot tag isn't visible on the filter/search page. I then searched with CBT as the tag, found a tease that included a hyperlinked "Icy Hot" in its list of tags, then clicked on that link to find all the teases that include Icy Hot as a tag.

Adding the ability for others to correct or amend tags to teases would probably be a good idea (so long as it wasn't abused).

By the way, I did a random tease recently that had a bunch of youporn links in it. I'd like to be able to find that tease again, but despite my searches, I haven't found it and don't know how to even search for it. Searching for 'youporn' or 'www.youporn.com' hasn't worked. If anyone has a suggestion how to search for such a tease (or recalls the tease) I'd appreciate any assistance.

This URL should save you loads of time:

http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtag.php?tag=

First copy it into your browser then add the tag you want after the = symbol, without any spaces i.e.

lube

http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showtag.php?tag=lube

urine play

"http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showt ... urine-play"

Notice the hyphen in between the phrase "urine play" This is because a url cannot have spaces. So, "for guys" must be typed "for-guys" Using this method, you'll save time hunting the hyperlink for whatever it is your into and a shitload of mouse clicks.

While we're on the topic of freeing up one's hand(s) for something more 'productive' than clicking a mouse all over the screen on multiple pages here's a life saver...keep in mind you need about 4 page reloads to get here otherwise assuming you start at the main page. Also it ONLY searches the title of the tease not the tags:

http://www.milovana.com/search

This is how you find any tease in seconds and is so easy to reach. Let's say you want to find a random tease you got off the home page but you can't remember the exact title or author, or you do remember the exact title but want to find it quickly because there's more to the series.

First you type http://www.mil and by this point internet explorer prolly suggests "www.milovana.com" so you hit the arrow down once and continue to type the word "search" and hit enter. If you just copy it or remember http://www.milovana.com/search either way your at the same place.

Now you remember it was a full day long tease like "all day long" or "all dogs go to heaven" or "i love you all" or just something with the word "ALL" so type just that word and scroll through. You get to number 31 and bam you see all2true's "All day tease" now that's the one you did, but you remember there we're more so you have 3 options sorted by easiest:

1 keep scrolling till you go past another by all2true with the word all in it

2 go back and further refine your search to something like "all day" or "all day tease" and you'll have a shorter list to scan through

3 click on the author's name and the hyperlink will take you right to profile and select the "search user's teases" hyperlink in blueish purple. That link will take you to ALL their teases. I recommend doing this everytime you enjoy a tease as it is typical that an author will use many of the same commands, kinks, punishments and is the best way to explore the site in my humble opinion.

Further if you loved a tease and want to find the author follow the milo/search method and in 2 clicks you can see anything else the author has done.

Another hint, typing the word "part" or the number "2" will bring up damn near every series on this site or a tease that is the 2nd part of almost all the series on this site.

There was one last hint but i had to retype this as i accidentally navigated off this page and had to re-write this message so till next time...

...ok i came back to the future and remembered what i forgot, it is important to note the the milo/search results are sorted by rating not date or alphabet, so until they add sort-able columns like sort by author sort by date etc etc keep in mind a tease from yesterday could be last cause of ratings and 4 years ago occupy the first 3 slots.
