Holding an edge?
I understand that edging is getting right to the point of no return then stopping, but what does it mean to hold an edge. Ive seen a lot of teases that want you to hold an edge but i am not exactly sure what that means. If you can help explain this to me so that I can enjoy teases more I will be really thankful.

Actually edging means stopping right before the point of no return. Being on the point of no return and stopping then would probably lead to a ruined orgasm
Holding the edge simply means getting to the edge of orgasm and - once you're there - continuing to touch with just the right intensity (and speed) to "hold on" to that edge, meaning to not let the feeling of that edge fade away and to stay at that delicious point right before the big explosion. It takes a lot of self-discipline to master holding the edge, though.
Practice makes perfect

It's called "riding the edge" or what I like to call "surfing" or "plateauing". It's a very advanced move. But is the key to falling into the bate hole and gooning out.

Re: Holding an edge?
So thanks to Mrs Julies tease http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showf ... p?id=26516 I learned how to hold an edge. Not twitching seems to be the most essential part.
But I discovered there are two different types of holding an edge for me:
1) Being in the plateau phase. This means that I am still stroking slowly or lightly and know that I will come after three fast or hard strokes at any point. This is really fun and my cock feels great with this and is very close to orgasm all the time. It is really about not twitching and finding the right rhythm while relaxing the whole body.
2) Being so close, the cum seems to be in my shaft already and I use the slightest, minimal movements with my hand to keep it there. This is really difficult and exhausting, makes me hyperventilate and my limbs get tingly if I do this for a total of 30 seconds or so and I need to take breaks.
I am still experimenting with this. But my question is, when they say hold the edge in all these teases, which do they mean? I am quite sure the first one is the one Mrs Julie went for, as stroking to metronome is not an option at all in the second version.
