Hey all,
i have tease mapped out in my mind. I also have the pictures. So I'm just wondering what is the minimum and maximum number of strokes and/or edges that you all feel a tease should include? Should I do both stroking and edging or just one or the other? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.

I always thought it could be fun to get a whole lot of strokes, or have to stroke constantly for a set ammount of time but NOT be allowed to EDGE; and when you get close you need to stop and maybe get punished for getting close. Anything from spankings, to clothespins or even more stroking. I guess that dosen't really answer your question, but it is something to think about.

For me, avoid # of strokes. Everyone is too different. & each time is different. 200 strokes may be nothing or it may be impossible. If it is eather extreme & that is what the tease is based on. ("Now stroke x# more times.) It looses all reality. It always gets me when a stroke has a series of "give me x strokes." Then after a few frames of this they say "You must really be wanting to cum by now!" & i am thinking "No not really. Its not that bad yet." + i don't know about the rest of you but when i stroke, i don't count. & especially if i am getting into it. So i couldn't tell you if 100 strokes is a lot or nothing. Use time (x# of min) or # of edges & each there own. X edges or X minintes is hard on everyone. (As much as You can use the word everyone.

I like the impossible teases like the "Cum Challenge" teases in the classics. (Here's a link to all of the 'classic' teases)

I have no hope of following them to the letter, but it's like watching a James Bond movie... it's over the top, you know we know you know it's over the top, it's all fun.

What I don't like are the teases that are too much and don't know it.

I think the trick is to have a good pace. Instead of doing a stroking x hundred times instruction, break it up into separate screens. Repeat images if you don't have enough. The reader's willingness to go along is fragile and you need to figure out how to meet them where they're at for me to think it's a great tease. Too difficult, or too boring, and it's lost. That's often why "x minutes on the edge" works better than "300 hard fast strokes no stopping no cumming". Everyone is physically able to keep themselves near the edge for a while if they have permission to moderate the speed. With sufficient warm-up, not many can do that 300 hard fast strokes in one go. Those that can withstand that even when already hot and near the edge have my envy, and if you're one of them, I suggest you make the tease for yourself and to heck with the rest of us... There have been teases I've loved that didn't have a 3.0 average. The rating isn't everything.

The key to a good tease for me is variety. Just stroking gets boring. Clothespins, spanking, panties, exercise, household chores, not stroking ice cubes all break up the sit and stroke boredom. A few teases have used songs on Windows Media Player as a timer and that was cool, especially if set on random play. Getting Stairway to Heaven is a bitch if you are already very horny. :)

The bitch of it is: You're always going to make someone unhappy with your teases.

You put in #strokes, someone wants edges or #minutes. You put in #minutes or edges, and someone says I want # strokes.

You put in spanking or pissing or name calling or [insert fetish], and you get told it's gross or too hard or something else.

At some point, you end up just having to say "fuck it", write the teases, and hope someone will like it. I like having good scores on my teases, and I have been lucky enough to please enough folks to get some decent scores. But, I stopped shooting for the scores a long time ago.

Write the tease that makes YOU happy. Be true to your own vision for the tease.

If teases are done right, they take a LOT of work. The Neapolitan Queens took me over 24 hours to put together. The Scavenger Hunt took three weeks. Even a nice straight forward tease like Any Time You Want or Dreaming Of Her will take 3-6 hours.

I am not saying this to bitch or complain. I am pointing out that, if you are going to invest the time into making the tease, do something that makes you happy.

That doesn't mean you don't listen to folks. I wrote The Six Schoolgirls & Mr. Pro precisely because I read the forum and found a discussion where folks were looking for "friendly" teases. I decided to give it a try. But, I wrote the tease in a way that satisfied me and reflected what I would look for in that specific type of tease.

Again, I apologize if someone takes this as bitching. It is NOT intended to be. Just a comment from a tease writer's perspective.

I second that. Even if what you like would place you in a minority group here, go for it. Don't be afraid to write something you doubt most people will like. Just tag it appropriately, and start a new topic in the forum asking for feedback on it. Hopefully, enough people will respond with positive reviews to give you a buzz. That's what it's all about
