Historical examples of female domination

I'm trying to find some inspiration for femdom fiction I'm writing. I wanted to find historical examples of females dominating males. Examples of paid dominatrices exist, but I was looking for something non-consensual: details on the treatment of male Roman slaves by female slaveowners and females kidnapping men, for example. I couldn't find any examples of this. Of course I don't condone anything non-consensual; it's just for the sake of fantasy.

I would appreciate any pointers to such sources.

Stories of the Amazons could give you ideas. They're likely more mythical than historical but are undoubtedly the most most well known female dominated society. One of the stories about them is that they would capture males when they raided towns. These males would be kept as slaves by the Amazons and used as breeding partners once a year.

You could invent an alternate faith for those victims. Maybe they weren't killed, but kept prisoner for the rest of their lifes to be Bathory's source of eternal youth (or something). All of her victims were women though.

It's not historical, but here's a great femdom story from Greek mythology: As punishment for murder, Hercules was compelled to serve as the slave of Queen Omphale for one year. During that time, she made him wear a dress and perform women's duties while she dressed in his lion-skin and carried around his club (some punishment, huh? )
