Seems the game doesn't load anymore and get stuck into "loading engine".
Tried on Opera and Chrome, both regular and incognito.
Cleaning the cache didn't help...

Ok apparently all the games have the same exact problem...

If the creampie lover is so desperate to be filled then why is it so hard to progress her scene :weep:

I don't know what event is in the Dark Woods but I hope I can find it. So far the new area feels not as dangerous or fun as the Swamp or even Deep Forest, but it's just been added so I'm sure it can improve easily.

I really like the effect from that one enemy in the Dark Woods where you can't stop thinking about her. It's a very cool idea, but overall if you progress to that area normally she's not a threat at all. Maybe it would be better for her to do a check on the second turn, or give some addiction, or curse the player earlier? As it stands she is free gold if your attack is high enough.
Really enjoying this tease overall. Keep up the good work. :love:

I think the Deep Forest is guarded by a much harder girl than Sandy and Wendy, but I'm going to try it out. Maybe my problem is that I get into the harder fights too soon without better equipment and attack. The problem for me is that the play sessions are quite long and there is no save function.

The forest boss lurks from 18-21 and the Deep Forest is from 9-11. So just go to the Forest in the morning until the blonde woman is no longer there, then go to the Deep Forest. There is one enemy you can safely fight with enough hp/attack and gain no addiction in the Deep Forest, but there's also one encounter you probably want to avoid :whistle:

Just some slight feedback, I feel like this game could seriously benefit from a save feature, or if save features still crash on too much data a new engine rather than webtease. At the moment for me, I’ve been trying to make it to the dark forest, and then defeat some of the enemies enough times to grab access to their photo packs, but the shemale and the handjob enemies take so long to fight I think the data is compiling too much and eventually I crash on the 2nd-3rd clear of either of them, not to mention that you aren’t guaranteed to find them while searching.

Basically trying to experience the game past day 15 is nearly impossible, and on top of that actually getting an insane enough run to rush the DF is fairly rare(though not impossible). Therefore being able to see all the new content is hard, I haven’t even seen the shemale gameover in the DF yet because normally when I’m progressing there I’ve become strong enough to withstand the attacks from her. Perhaps to see that content I’ll have to set up a run to intentionally lose there, but then I have to be lucky enough to see her over the other encounters.

I love this game I've played it a few times now, mind you I'm very bad at the game.
As I'm not use to this type of gameplay. I would like to recommend some in real life stroking to the game, as it feels a bit weird
when the character who's suppose to be me cums and I'm sitting there not have even had a chance to stroke.
But if that's not the type of game you're going for thats cool too or maybe it's later in the game that I haven't reached yet cos like I said I'm really bad aha 😅

I highly believe it's either the effect of being defeated by zoe or the alchemist lab. I took a look at source code, as I couldn't find it either; but saw nothing there. I haven't dug too deep, mind you

Is it possible to add unlocks or things to (optionally) make future runs easier or anything? RN you can get bad RNG early on and once you lose a fight its almost impossible to come back from a loss in this game. Also, each run is very time consuming and having to play through them in one sitting is a tall ask, especially with the expanding scope of the game.

Hi Ceverity, a saved feature is planned and should be good to go on the v1.0 release, in this version i have plans to drastically change the way the game is played, for now Hero Corruption is more of an RPG than a roguelike, this change should smooth the implementation of a save feature :-)

Heya! I'm glad you're having fun, I noticed that people here are used to this style of gameplay, the Tavern was the way I found to add this feature to the game, have you reached it?

I described the Zoe's arc as an event on the patch notes, sorry for the confusion, was the way i found to write the addition without too much spoilers :-/

I'm not sure about decreasing the difficulty of the game, right now I'm feeling that we're hitting that sweet spot, but as I mentioned above, a save mechanic is planned for v1.0, maybe not in the way you're all expecting, but it should solve the problem of very time-consuming runs that has been the main reason players have asked for this addition.

I gave this version one last try before the next one comes out on here. I just wanted to point out the things I really like and would love to see more of.

The Mia event is absolutely phenomenal. I understand Mia was introduced in an earlier version, but I never experimented with the Swamp that much. That on its own could be a very high quality tease, with the multiple areas and a pretty interesting story.

I do wish there were more choices when it actually comes to Mia. I also would have loved to see a "final fight" scenario when you try to escape from the gate. But once again, the event is already so deep and well done that I am asking for a lot when so much more content could be made similarly to this event.
The Swamp event is also an enjoyable longer event.

My biggest problem is that it repeats itself a lot and gets boring after the first time playing through it. I would love to see this reworked, but it's a HUGE request that really doesn't need to be fixed.
I am clearly biased towards these little minigames hidden around the game because they add SO MUCH variety compared to the normal battles. I think having one of these types of events per location could be a really cool idea (maybe even in the Tavern during jobs). Again, tall task, but these events are very fun and I would love to see more of them.

I also saw you may be looking for a new engine to continue crating this tease/game. I'll look around and see if there's anything premade out there. If you're looking specifically for a web-based format, I may not be able to help that much since I don't really know much about it.

Hi mckig, I've been enjoying making events more and more, I also agree that they add variety to the game as it becomes something more than battle > rest > repeat. I have plans for other events and I'm looking forward to implementing them, but first I need to finalize the game's base content.

To be honest, there's already a pseudo-event in the game files that was added back to version 0.65, but I've never been able to implement it, maybe if I finish some of the next versions with time to spare I'll find a way to enable it.

And yeah, I'm looking for a new engine, I've been using GML these past few months to develop a separate project, and I thought of ways to export Hero Corruption there, but I've been realizing that maybe it's not the ideal platform either. What worries me the most these days when we talk about another engine is the issue of the photos used in Hero Corruption, I don't know how ethical and moral it is to start another project outside of Milovana using these photos (We could start a new discussion about the usage of photos on this website, but I have a feeling that we're already past this)

Anyway, so far EOS has been great, maybe even enough for this project, the community has also helped me a lot. I could keep using EOS for an extended period of time, but I'm always scared of demanding too much from it. Maybe if I had a sense of its limits I would feel a little bit better... (Example: How many photos can I add to the gallery? I honestly have no idea. :-P )

It sounds like Twine is the ideal platform to work on this outside of Milovana. It's free, very similar language to the EOS editor and it outputs to an HTML file. I'm working on a number of projects on it, as well as one on EOS, and can recommend.
You can also download it or access it online, so if you have cloud storage like Google Drive or pCloud, you should be able to edit your tease remotely as with EOS, I think.
