Well on techniques and types of bondage there's a lot of google sites... You can find pretty much everything there, and if your partner is eager to learn with you and give it some time - you are good.

Only thing to remember - is that when you watch kink.com movies and see a fantastic bondage you should understand - it's not hard to learn doing, but that bondage requires up to half an hour to get INTO, even when you know how to tie every knot. that's why always start with something simple. And when doing something bigger, you'll have to do it in stages.

Some safety advices:
1) Always watch your partner, never take an eye off him even for a second.
2) Use techniques carefully, some may be dangerous or harmful.
3) Don't tie your partner unprepared. Use only the ties you'v learned from a trustworthy sites. Even something as simple as tieing wrists together may end up in bruices or cutting the blood flow, if you do it wrong.
4) gagging a girl up with her panties (or any other safe-made things) may sound like fun, but it's really dangerous and life-threatening if a piece of, say, cloth gets down the throat.
5) use safewords
6) ensure it's fun for both of you.

Those are totally my two favorite things(semi-public and bondage). *s* I don`t know for other people, but rope harnesses, rope corsets, anything without a lot of knots worked fine(it makes riding a bike more difficult though lol). Even handcuffs was ok because i could hide it, but big knots on the back are really hard to conceal.

Crotch rope - take a rope, bend it in two, then make a loop out of it and place it over her waist, so the remaining rope is in the front. Then pull the remaining rope through her crotch right between her pussy lips, between her ass cheeks and up - tie it to the back side of a loop. Make it tight. Tada! Breast harnesses - there can be many, One of the easiest is making a loop of a double rope (that's actually the best way to start any bondage), and put it over her chest under the breasts (the remaining rope is at the back). Then grab the remaining rope and put it around the chest yet again, but above the breasts now, and tie it at the back to where the loop starts.
For the big enough breasts: Then grab another rope, bend it in half, put it between the breasts so it's going under the both ropes you tied before. Make a loop of it then, so it pulls both ropes together. Now you have two rope ends. You grab each of them and tie a few times around the each breast, leaving some rope free. You then grab this remaining piece of rope and put it over the opposite shoulder and behind her back and tie it there.

For smaller breasts: There are breasts that you can't tie a rope around. They are still good but just are not large enough. Then you can just squeeze them with rope. Get to the stage where two ropes are going below and above the breasts, but dont tie them, instead put a third loop right over the breasts, and catch the nipples in between the two ropes (you are working with the double rope), so they stand out. Make it really tight, so the breasts are squeezed and pushed to the chest by the rope. THEN you tie it down behind her back.

As I said before great bondage is time consuming, but noone forbids you to do it step by step during the sexual play. Tie her hands behind her back - have her kneel and give you a blowjob

Actually if you are into bondage I'd recommend you always have at home:

pieces of rope, I'd go for lengths 3m, 5m, 7m, 10m, 2-4 pieces each. That's cheap. ONLY you should buy very soft cotton ropes. Industrial ropes won't do - they are too rough for the girl's tender skin, they may cause friction burns and unneeded marks. Find a really soft cotton ropes, I don't recommend buying synthetic ropes, although some use them.

Also there's special "equipement" that makes bondage play much more fun and allows lots of positions.
1) A strong wooden armchair. It'll blend in any interior, and also provides great device to tie a girl to. Pick a really solid one, one you can literally jump on. One that can't be broken by a struggling girl. Also I recommend using one with additional horizontal planks between the legs of a chair.
You can then tie her to it, you can pull her legs up above the arms of a chair, you can bend her over it standing or kneeling on the seat... Lots of stuff can be done with a good chair.
2) Some flat space to play on. Bed is not good sometimes. Either a floor with a good carpet on it, or a good large table.
3) A few spreader bars. You can make them yourself instead of buying one - cheaper. Get a wooden bar like a handle of a shovel, cut it to the length you want (not necessary long - there are spreader bars for knees, for example), smooth the edges and then get a short piece of rope and just fix it on with industrial stapler or something on the end of a stick (by the middle, so two pieces of rope hanging). Do that on both ande and you get a good spreader bar. Rope can be additionally fixed with insulating tape.

4) Leather cuffs are useful sometimes, but not crucial.

Your heart is definitely in the right place with your concerns about hurting Meghan and there are some excellent references out there that are readily available inexpensively that contain the information you need to tie your lady love safely yet securely. Thanks guys for everything so far, i have found all this information very useful
and in answer to a few previous questions my main interest at the moment is self-bondage, but i do not have a partner so must be able to release myself (even if it is a bit of a struggle )

in my opinion the two best websites for self bondage are gromet's plaza and bound anna.

Bound Anna is a treasure-trove of information though, especially if you log into the (reasonably) active forum.
