I can't belive that seraphox can't give a right to a single moderator (anyone) who will simply delete those "teases" :-|

I agree something needs to be done,

People really need to get over the idea that your own preferences should dictate what others should have access to and not.

There is not a single shred of sensibility in asking for something you don't like to be removed from everyone else as well.

What you should be asking for is solutions that lets YOU suppress what YOU don't like, without imposing your own preferences and dislikes unto OTHERS.

One can always argue that something doesn't even constitute a "webtease" at all and as such should be removed. But even that is a slippery slope based on the opinion and evaluation of a few individuals - which is not good. In similar debates in the last year we have seen people argue against webteases who are too storybased, and likewise people argue against teases lacking story. Point in hand: People's opinion on what a tease makes varies a LOT more than you might think, and as such your own opinion is not at all necessarily representative for that of everyone else.

So, stop asking for modding, banning, filtering etc in a general way. Fortunately Seraph0x has a very sensible mindset on this particular aspect so I strongly doubt that line of thought will get you anywhere anyway.

Instead, ask for tools allowing you to govern your own experience without imposing your preferences on others. It's selfish, pretentious and arrogant.

Someone already made a script allowing you to suppress teases with low rating (configurable too). That alone should go a LONG way toward removing the root cause of these debates. In fact, for me at least, these debates tend to bother me a lot more than having to look past a few retarded contact ads poorly disguised as webteases.

Google Dictionary: Webteases are a relatively new form of pornography that combines erotic storytelling with erotic imagery and sometimes other multimedia content like audio or flash . The viewer is always engaged in a form of sexual roleplaying, supported by the storyline.

I could be mistaken, but asking for someone to dominate you does not fall in line with the definition of webtease.

The problem I have is the lack of effort put into them. Ive seen a few teases where dommes are looking for subs and generally they have at least some effort, more than 1 page and some writing that is designed to entice people in. I dont really see the problem in a sub writing a really good tease designed for a Domme to read and contact them (after all, there are plenty of 'story' type teases). Its these retarded one-pagers with no chance of ever getting a response. I wish there was a filter so we could choose to block out badly rated teases.

I also like the idea of having a couple of lines on the tease-creation site asking people not to create spam teases.

And precisely what relevance does google's or any other dictionary for that matter, have for this discussion? What is a webtease and not here on this site boils down to what Seraph0x says - no more, no less.
