I should say that although I don't like Indy in general I have to agree with his logic this time.

There's nothing wron in expressing personal opinion. There IS in offending that person if you don't agree with that particular opinion. We all have our own views on everything in the world. It doesn't mean we should go and offend everyone who's got the OTHER oppinion on some matter. If it was so, we'd have to go and offending EVERYONE, because any person you take will have different views on some subject than you.

I'd advise her to get used to it. That's not a fluffy pink world with kittens and teddy bears all over the place. If you don't get used to jerks you'll suffer. For example, if someone said, "society and popular culture perpetuate the stereotype that black people are criminals, and I often succumb to this notion", nobody would take offense at it. However, if one said "my opinion is that black people are criminals", they would. You see the difference?

It would be a shame if AngelAnna left due to such a trivial occurrence; everyone makes mistakes. But if she does you can't blame it on Human.

LOL why?! How else should I express my view of some things. I HAVE stereotypes, so what? I still have a right to express them as my personal opinion. Someone may argue with it, but if someone will start INSULTING ME based on my opinion that's strange, you know. She expressed HER PERSONAL view on how man and women should be like. That doesn't offend men who doesnt qualify to her standarts. Ok let me give an example: I don't find black women sexy at all - they are as sexy for me as men. SO does it make me racist and offend black women? Not at all. That's my opinion, that's my TASTES. Or another example, even more ridiculous by the same logic - I don't like chocolate (I really don't), I find it smell disgusting (really). I think normal desert shouldn't contain it at all. SO by your logic that statement insults everyone who likes chocolate, because I kind of said that they enjoy eating disgusting things. That's just STUPID logic, and it's stupid to be insulted on it's basis.

What is said was not a personal attack on anyone! I said what I did because I thought I was talking to a group of open minded people who might at least understand my point of view, if if it not agreed with. Not one person here could look me in the eye and tell me they agree with everyone view on life, or they way the believe things are meant to be or the way the would prefer them to be.

Human, at the end of the day I am not sorry you got offended. you took my generalized opinion and turned it round as a personal attack upon yourself. I made it quite clear that i have no issues with any ones lifestyle no matter where on any spectrum they fall, but surly I am entitled to enjoy or not enjoy anything i want with out having to justify myself at every point. You may not agree with my opinion but you can at least give me the courtesy of respecting it, and not take it as a personal attack. A personal attack to me is "You are a bigot".
