I'm working on a Flashtease, which has been a pretty challenging but fun experience. I've been um... analyzing other Flashteases as well.
One thing I've noticed in a lot of Flashteases out there is that it seems the majority do not have any hardcore images (i.e. boy/girl blowjob or sexual penetration). I plan to use hardcore images in my Flashtease, but was curious to the lack of hardcore images in Flashteases.

In a tease I prefer getting all attention from a model, not seing her having sex with someone. Hardcore images CAN be placed good in a certain plot, but not every plot. In the majority of the teases I wouldn't like to see any hardcore. But in some stories they may be acceptible or hot.

Normally, there's no point using hardcore pics just because you would like to.
As mentioned, they have to fit into the theme of your tease - whether it's a flash or 'traditional' one.
Of course, it's always a personal matter what kinds of teases that turns you on.
My experience is that the best teases are made by people that get turned on themselves by creating them.
To inspire you, my recent tease (Is this what you want) actually included a few hardcore pics as part of the theme and worked very well.
I voted #3. As long as the pics make sense with the story/instructions, I'm happy. Probably it's true in both Flash and regular teases that the majority of pics are model-only (no cock) to create the impression that it's just the reader and the model having a conversation.
I agree the content of a picture must be relevant to the story/tease.
As we have seen even a picture of a closed door can be relevant.
Also continuity is needed so "models" don't keep changing style of attire at strange times.
I.E. dressed undressed then dressed again in consecutive pages.
I would think if the "Hero" is told to watch another couple and imagine that happening with the "model".
That is not cuckolding.
