My suggestion: Make a link on the homepage to direct you to the "Official "I'm Looking For A Domme, Dom or sub" Thread". Can have a sort of psychological effect on the ppl who make those annoying webteases.(thread more visible)

I still don't get why these types of teases annoy people so much. I just don't look at them if they have a low raiting. The same as any other tease that gets a 2. Really why are you so compelled to read it if you know from the start that it's not something your interested in?

I'm sure everyone goes about looking at teases their own way but for me I first look at the title the rating and the image. If it sounds interesting I look at the tags. If im still interested I start reading it... If it starts to suck I look for another.

I'm not seeing why it's so hard for people to just not read something you know you won't like. I get more annoyed with all the posts about how these types of teases are so annoying than with the teases themselves. I don't like hardly any of the teases with cum eating or ass play. I don't post topics bitching about them. I just don't do them.

I also haven't seem a good Dom request tease yet but these people are at least making teases. For slot of them it's their first one or they haven't made many and my guess is your first hand full of teases are going to stuck until you get the hang of it. On top of that many of the ones I've looked at give the impression that the authors first language isn't English.

I've always like how this community encouraged people to make teases and i think things will start going down hill pretty fast if instead of trying to encourage people to make better teases we blast all the authors that write bull shit we dont like.

How many new authors do you think will stick around if everyone that doesn't like there tease blasts them on the forums? How many of the old authors will keep putting all that effort into making teases when we start pointing out all the shit we didn't like about it?

I know I ever wrote a tease and then got blasted on the forums I would feel all that good about writing another one.

Well... I agree with what you say, but not so much Snot... though I can see why he said it. It's fine, Snot, to allow for people to speak freely and to not attack authors in the forums. Showing one's appreciation or lack thereof for the teases? That's what the ratings are for. The forums need not be uncivil.

Still, I can see why people get annoyed with the one-page non-teases. First, because they belong elsewhere. They aren't teases. Second, because they fill the page of new teases so much, that the REAL new teases get pushed to another page. Yes, you can "show" more in the list and solve that problem somewhat. But everybody knows that the more clicks you need to get to any content, the less it's seen.

If you are going to use a web tease to advertise then do some work make a tease to show
Your passion, what you want and can give.
You have a fantastic opportunity to show that exactly in the text and pictures.
Stirring an interest in your desideratum.

Then do your advertising in a feed back forum,
Where you can be questioned about your abilities , and experiences, needs and wants.

Just throwing up a picture and an email is not going to do you any favours in getting what you want.

Lets face it you are just being fucking lazy.
As well as pissing off the majority of Milovanians.

A Dom/me does not keep lazy subbies.
A sub will not stay with a lazy Dom/me.

We remove solicitation if it is
- commercial OR repeated (multiple postings for the same thing)
AND
- doesn't add value to the site.

The second rule is only there as a backup for when the first rule is violated. So rather than just banning all commercial solicitation we give it a pass if it comes with some content or freebie that people are enjoying.

These rules apply to all sections of the site, though obviously different moderators will apply them with different degrees of leniency. For me personally it has to be a fairly blatant violation to get deleted.

For non-commercial single postings however, I have no interest whatsoever to enforce a particular notion of what a webtease is. This site is a hosting platform, not an editorial blog. We aim to provide authors with decent tools to make and publish teases. Whatever they want to put in there is none of my business as long as they don't break the law.

For those of you who were concerned about the quality of our front page - if you are truly worried that people will no longer be able to find the good teases then there is a really simple way to help: Editorialize. You could start a blog website linking to good teases or a forum thread listing your favorites. We don't want to make judgements over content, but you are perfectly free to do so.

That said, we do consider it part of our duties to provide tools for sorting and finding teases, so if this type of tease becomes commonplace we'd add a tag and a filtering mechanism for it. Note that it'll take a few months to really get a sense if this is going to be big enough of a phenomenon to warrant its own category.

I agree. The past week or so we get either some ads or individual 'tease' page that is someone begging / looking for a dom/me. Sad to see that kind of crap polluting the otherwise wonderful community here.

I don't think it helps that some members have taken it upon themselves to add additional non-teases calling people skanks or mocking other peoples teases or posts. These type of adverts are becoming a bit of a nuisance on this site; we either need a new section for it (so those who think this method of gaining a dom/sub works can carry on posting), or these should be removed.

but there is.. A different feel to this tease, then the other two I have written and deleted.

Let me explain since it is easy... Why do these teases annoy? Because they are not teases. They are Spam, Personal Ads.

Would it annoy you if I start posting cooking recipes in the web tease section? Cuz if you don't like them you can just not look at them? Or how about financial investment guides, or reports or travel ads...

Soon the web tease section would be so overrun with stuff and junk with has nothing to do with web teases, that you will not find web teases anymore under all the rubble. Whole forums have died because content is no longer accessible due to the amount of spam and junk postings. That's why people are getting upset and highly annoyed.

These are things, I don't want to call then teases, containing only one thing over and over again: a whining male who actually thinks any female domme will jump them here, for free, since those jack asses are to much of a cheapskate to pay a domme for a service. The Internet shall provide, for free of course, custom tuned to their whiny demands, a the expense of all others. I just hate it. It's cheap, disrespectful, tasteless and exhibits strong social dysfunction.

I hereby propose that all submitted teases are "moderated" - a mod of the site shall actually check if the submitted material is a tease or just spam and delete the later without further notice.

i dont post much, but i will say a few things


i personaly despise these abominations. its trying to turn milovanna into a meat market for people who just havnt got a clue.

and i use the word meat very deliberatly. its something which destroys fetish sites in the long run unless it is either stopped or limited so a TINY area where its a choice to view it.

i am on fetlife and the number of people who are just shotgunning requests for a sub/dom/object to do X with. no concernt for th epeople, or anything just i WANT I WANT.

yes there will be the ocassional shit tease which people just dont get but if its more than a page long there is some effort in it.

Aren't these teases just spam? surely they should be deleted for a breach of the web-tease rules (if such rules exist lol) I feel like they are taking up valuable room where proper teases should be featured prominently just imagine what would happen if the entire 1st page of teases consisted of these advertisement features
