I have been developing a game for almost a week or so. I have been wanting to do it for a long time!! I have been thinking up ideas, reading about various games online, and finally decided I would try to make one just for me.

Goals

1) Have Fun
2) Don't Risk my job or reputation
3) Stay Safe

Background / Assumptions

The point here is to establish a reason, motivation, or incentive to play and continue to play a game.

GAME SETUP:

Bag must be reset . . . every Sunday at the end of the day.

Starting with an empty bag, place the following chips into it:
5 White, Blue, Black 1 Red, Green

RULES:

Starting with Week 2 (6/13/11), New Rules, Tasks, etc. will not take effect until the following week’s game. Modifications to current rules do not take effect until next week’s game. Items may be added with an effective date in parentheses.

Negative Comments:

Negative points carryover from day to day (and double into new week)

Skip day = 10 black chips
Start on Tuesday 6/7/11.

Softball:
Pitching W & HRs / Batting Outs/ Fielding Errors = +1black each (no limit)

Late anywhere = +1 black per minute late (no limit)

before 11pm = +2 white
after midnight = +1 blue
after 1am = +3 black
after 2 am = +10 black
after 3am = +25 black
after 4am = +100 black

Non-Pop (Water, Milk, Fruit Juice, etc.) = +1 point each (no limit)
64 oz water in one day = add 10 white & remove 10 black & +10 points
Excessive Pop = +1black chip per pop over 2 per day.
No Pop All Day = may remove 10 of any chips

CONVERT POINTS TO CHIPS:

May be done at any time except during a drawing period.
Points do not accumulate during punishments or during drawing periods.

Allowable time to remember to gamble back to 50 is within 5 minutes of going over 50 chips in the bag.

I know it is long, but I have added a little here and there as I go.
It will probably get a little longer, but mainly only by adding tasks/chores/punishments.

I can look at the chips anytime I want, up to once per hour.
I have only been doing it once per day at most, but hope to do it up to 3 times per day.
This is because each drawing is a time commitment (at least 20 minutes of drawing and being hard, time to do the task from the chip).

If this format or part of it made it into a tease, that would be awesome.
