Hello all, I'm going to use this post to introduce myself and ask a few questions as well. I came across this site recently and love it. This site definitely has something for everyone and I'm happy to be apart of the community.
Now I'm new to webteases, and I have searched the forum but haven't been able to find an answer to my questions so I'm posting it in this topic. It has to do the definition of stroking and stroking pace. I have browsed through some teases and hopefully I could get some clarification:
Strokes -> Is 1 stroke a full up and down motion? or is 1 stroke counted as 1 movement (either up or down)?
Pace -> If something says slow/medium/fast pace, does the pace depend on the person? or is it a set value (example: set value on a metronome)?
I hope that this hasn't been answered before as I hate posting repeating questions on forums, but like I said, I couldn't find anything. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Re: Stroking rhythm and pace
I think a stroke is Down, Up. Most of the teases that use something to keep pace want a full down up stroke per tick.
I've never been that picky about the details. =)
If I had to guess I'd say Slow was what ever pace was teasing and made you really want to stroke faster. Medium would be a pace you could go at for a long time without getting to the edge. Fast would be something that would get you to the edge rather quickly.
idk never thought about it.

Re: Stroking rhythm and pace
Yeah, I agree with that. One stroke is one up and down stroke, unless it is explicitly defined differently.
Speeds like slow, medium, fast don't mean a certain pace, but a certain feeling.
Slow should feel a bit too slow (arround 60/min for me), medium should feel good but shouldn't take you to edge either (90-120/min), fast should be enough to edge (120-180/min).

Re: Stroking rhythm and pace
Thanks for the replies, I did figure at first a stroke was a full up and down motion but wanted to see if everyone differently or if it was common knowledge.
I understand the pace thing a little better now but I guess it will take some time to get use to.

Re: Stroking rhythm and pace
I take a full stroke to be a combined up and down.
separated into up stroke and stroke down.
I find a medium pace is
This bouncing smilie is at 72 bounces per minute
With slower one second or more per part stroke.
and faster obviously 2 full strokes or more per second.
