CB6ks are leathal even the real ones. dont get them
Can you explain why they are lethal?

Does anyone else feel this way about them?
Not literally lethal, but the word is that the glue and plastic seams tend to break on the cb6000's leaving sharp edges.... not the good kinds of edges I mean.....  :-O ... not to mention all the $ you spent on it.

I tried the new hinged rings... broke after a month. I sleep on my stomach, so my cb needs to support my weight, and I tend to play with & shake the device when I'm locked (for that little bit of much desired stimulation), so it needs to be able to take some abuse.... I wouldn't want it breaking and cutting me when I'm asleep, but that's just me. Well I am into pain, but not that kind! ;-)
That doesn't sound too good, it's put me off the idea of getting one of them.

What devices would people recommend then for a beginner in chastity devices? I'd want one that is comfy and can be worn out, possibly for long periods (I don't know how much I'll enjoy it yet :P) and one that's relatively easy to get the hang of.

Also can't really spend more than £100 on one. Any recommendations are extremely welcome. There seems to be a large selection out there but I'm nervous of spending a lot of money and it turning out to be poorly built or just a poor device in general. Be good to hear some opinions from those that have experience.

Also does anyone know what the size recommendations are for the long and short CB kits? I know they say their length and width but should there be room to grow in them and if so how much?

All help is greatly appreciated. I really don't know much about what's good and what's not.

In my experience you want minimal (or no) room to grow. The trouble with space is that if you aren't well lubricated and end up pointed a bit the wrong way you get hung up on the side of the cage by surface friction and things become weirdly uncomfortable... you can't expand down into the cage properly, but there is some attempt to grow, and the pressure is focused on where you are pressing against the cage.

I recently got a Mature Metal jailbird and I have been quite happy with it so far. The fit leaves me with zero room to grow, which I find more comfortable than the larger cb3k I had before -- they both end up tight if I get excited, but the pressure on the jailbird is well distributed. Having no room to grow is in some ways more frustrating too, which... might be a good thing?

As far as fitting goes I largely followed the guide at the following link, although I opted for a snug cage diameter. This is working out for me but as always everyone has a different anatomy and you might need to experiment to find the right fit.

(sizing guide) http://www.chastitymansion.com/forum/in ... it-devices

(mature metal) http://www.maturemetal.com/

The custom metal devices are more expensive, and you need to know what you want before you can measure one. With this in mind there might be some logic to getting a non-custom device that is adjustable and lets you experiment with sizing options... the downside being that you may have some work to do to figure out what works for you, and it might end up not being viable.

While I'm here I will also say that Mature Metal had excellent customer service when I dealt with them, including being very responsive to questions before I ordered... so if you are leaning that way and uncertain about sizing I would recommend firing them an email with any questions you have.

I've always got my CBxK devices from the official site or a official reseller and never had problems with them breaking. That said, I know one place I would have once trusted to be an official reseller I no longer do so. So. Buy straight from the maker: www.cb-6000.com

As far as size goes, this is hard to determine. I'm too short when soft for a CB3k, though I stay in. A '6kS fits much better. A '6kS with a KSD is even closer and I bet I would fit into a full '6k (which is the same length as a '3k) with a KSD just fine. The '6kS is about half-an-inch shorter than the '6k.

KSDs come from Kept For Her who have exceptional customer service. They do also sell the CBxK range, the real ones, not the cheap knockoffs.

OK so I went for a CB-6000 from Lovehoney in the end. Had it quite a while now and never had any problems but tonight it must have pulled apart because it caught my skin and that was not nice. So now I'm looking for a different one.

I'm thinking about the Curve but would like some feedback to see whether there have been any problems with them? I assume I can buy just the cage as I have all the rings from my CB6k.

I've also had a quick look at metal ones but the trouble is they're way out my price range at the moment. Does anyone know anywhere that does cheaper metal ones, around the same price as the CB or the Curve?

All help appreciated.

As I was skimming through the posts, I was thinking about why I usually buy my directly from A.L. Enterprises, the main distributor or whatever they are, of the CB line. The main reason behind getting it directly from them, is because they are known to break fairly easily in just the way you described. A.L. Enterprises offers a one-year full warranty on their product, and will replace the cage if it breaks on you in the way you described.

To be honest, I am able to get out of any of the CB devices quite easily, so I am really not very into them any more. Make sure you take a good look at the Birdlocked and Bon4, which are popular silicone chastity devices. I would recommend Tickleberry.co.uk as well, but it seems they've closed, which is really sad.

On the other hand you can find fakes for the price twice as low, if you are short of money, and they are the same quality as oficial. You decide do you need a warranty, or will you be fine in fixing it yourself in case it breaks.

Also about the Curve I heard it's not very descreet and stands out under the clothes.

To be honest, when the one I had broke, I tried to fix it myself with some super glue. What happened was that the channels they use to plastic-weld the two halves of the device together are so extremely thin, that the thinnest possible layer of glue I could get on them squished out from the walls of the device when I pressed the two halves back together.

This left an uneven spot on the inside of it where the penis goes. Trying to wipe off this extra glue before it hardened messed up the glossy walls of the interior. I suppose I could have sanded down the device, but was too much work. All I really needed was a new cage. The cost of the official cage portion itself and the cost of buying the whole device as a knockoff was the same, so I just got a new cage, knowing I wouldn't have to deal with it breaking again.

Didn't read the hole thread want just responding to this one:
I have an original CB6000 an apparently a too big penis. It fits wonderful when relaxed but when it gets exited it is not really too small, its okay but the cage could not withstand and the too parts loosend. I didn't noted these an my penis was clamped at the botton side.
When I removed the cage there was wound and there is still a 1-2 inches long scar :\'-(

It isn't lethal in my opinion but there is a risk of injury.
The device is okay when your penis is small enough but when forces come into play the cage is to weak!

Although I can sneak in and out with enough lube

I heard people glueing it together sucessfully. Also if you use a small brush to apply the glue it won't squish up.
I personally had an experience in glueing up skeletons for warhammer-like boardgame and can tell that with experience you learn to apply just enough glue.
Just for anyone who'll be up to doing it - plan everything and be very careful, use brush to apply glue (but pick up a brush that won't be dissolved by the glue itself).

Woah, that's harsh. Well at least now you can brag that a girl had bitten you in the moment of extatic bliss =)
