You may be wondering why I dare write "Merry Christmas" when every child knows that on a diversely populated site like Milovana I should be writing "Happy Holidays" or better yet, nothing at all. Well, I hope you'll forgive me the oversight just this once and replace my sincere wishes with the terminology you prefer.
Special shot goes out to my friends in the north some of whom will be celebrating Yule featuring 12 "wild nights", filled with eating, drinking and partying. That's the stuff. But for the rest of us: Take a step back, relax, reflect and let's all look forward to another eventful year.
Happy Solstice, all. Now the world turns and life renews itself. The days lengthen, and the days get warmer and lighter.

A very good 2008 to one and all (ho- ho- ho!)
