Okay I have to brag
With some help I totally blew away my time on holding an edge
My previous best was
just 40 sec.

But today I did 8 Minutes!

I know there maybe other who can do more
but I just HAD to brag a bit!

On a different note
I am unsure if you got to see it
but for a brief moment the real love of my life was in chat

right 8 minutes, as i would believe you. Then you werent really on the edge. I can stay on the edge for like 2-3 seconds thats all and then i either have to stop or i cum and you want to tell me you can edge for 8 minutes...

8 minutes is too much for me too, but I can hold like a minute at least. I don't think it's impossible to do that for 8 minutes.

If you can hold only a few seconds that's most likely your personal, and won't apply to ANYONE.

we are talking about staying on the edge here i am pretty sure noone can stay on the edge for longer than just a few seconds. I mean if you masturbate and you are close then you reach the edge and then just a few more strokes you cum. if that wouldnt be a fact than noone would be able to ruin his orgasm, cause think about it you edge and you can stay there for 8 mins how will you ever be able to ruin a orgasm? you would have to edge for 8 min and then let go to be able to ruin it.

i am pretty sure this is how it works for you, you hit the edge then you slow down, you leave the danger zone and you are not on the edge anymore, you keep masturbating and in a second or two you are on the edge again, then you slow down, leave the edge go faster a little, hit the edge again.

so its hitting the edge every second for 8 minutes, sure that would be possible to do and very frustrating, but its hitting the edge very fast again and again and again and again and not staying! on the edge for 8 minutes. Its two totally different things.

Roni, its possible to hold the edge for quite a while.

Ofcourse you do slow down, but the secret is that you stay as close to the point of no return as you were before, when you reached the edge, thats all ;)...

My record is somewhat between 5 and 7 minutes. Back when Miss Jay had her awesome forum games

Imho edging is a very important part of sexual activities. If you have a partner or not, being able to go to the edge and do not cum will make your whole experience alot more exciting. You are missunderstanding the concept.

Edge is when you have a few strokes left from going over it and cumming.
Ruined orgasm, is when you GO OVER the edge and stop the stimulation.

Edge is held by pacing your strokes. You don't wank like crazy - men can't hold the edge that way (women can). You are stroking lightly and slowly, staying on the edge but not going over.

Maybe i am not a human than, but i can stroke for hours if i do it slow. Feels good but i dont reach the point of cumming that way, if i go faster then i get the built up which leads to an orgasms, the point right before i cum is what i call an edge. And the point where is no back anymore is what i would call over the edge. If i continue to masturbate than i have an enjoyable orgasm, if i stop masturbating i have an ruined orgasm.

But if i hit that edge and go slower then i leave the edge. I cannot stay on that point. Sorry but thats not edging for me, thats beeing very close to the edge and staying that close to it. Edging for me is the point where it just needs one more stroke and you cum and at that point even the tiniest stimulation will get you over it, so you have to stop for a fraction of a second and then you could stroke again to hit the edge again, over and over again.

I guess its a thing of how you define an edge. If its like Nezhul says. A few strokes left from going over and if do slow strokes. Well i could do that for hours easy. I stroked on cam for a girl slowly for ages, never really getting to a point where i would be able to cum. Cause sorry i need at least 60-80 beats a minute to cum anything slower just doesnt do it for me. A different thing is palming, i can easy cum with slow palming.

I think it also matters how you masturbate, but by the way i do it normaly i have to jerk off fast ;)

I was within so close to cumming that there were points I was just barely touching
othertimes I was slightly rubbing the sweet spot
I was being monitered and was watching the time.

Maybe it's because I have gotten older?

8 minutes is a fairly long time. I've only ever managed about 5 minutes. Edge control isn't really my forte.

Back in the golden age of Milovana though, @Ariareflection was a complete master at holding edges. He could hold them for stupid amounts of time. So I guess it just depends on mental discipline and your technique really.
