Lol, quite possibly. Kind of glad since don't know if i could last a few days w/out atleast some stroking, atleast I can do some edging now. Ok.. i have read through this topic, and .. i just can't help myself, i have to post some math Please ignore this post, if you are just interested in the game itself.

There was some confusion about the probabilities, involving Nezhul, les, denton, and others. denton did some good explanations, but since Nezhul had a course in "Probability and statistics", i will throw in some technical terms to convince him

Take a look at this table. It's the number of combinations of 2 dies for each number, total 21 combinations are avaliable.

1 - 0 (can not be achieved)
2 - 1
3 - 1
4 - 2
5 - 2
6 - 3
7 - 3
8 - 3
9 - 2
10 - 2
11 - 1
12 - 1

This table can be used to interpret the experiment of throwing 2 dice. The table les used (with 36 events) is another way. Still another way, since as Nezhul said we are only interested in the sum, would be simply assuming 11 events, where one is "sum is 2", next "sum is 3" and so on. The difference between those events is, that only the one from les is a uniform distribution. The table from Nezhul is a non-uniform distribution, and therefor his following calculations are wrong. I won't give a proof here, but simulations can easily show that "sum 7" occurs much more than 3 times "sum 12", as Nezhuls table would imply.
What his table does show, is that chances above and below 7 are indeed mirrored (though more or less accidently..), the table les posted also shows this. But "sum 7" does show up 6 times "sum 12", so it is even worse than he said.

Next topic.. NewInKink posted a nice (and correct ) list of probabilities for cumming, moving or staying at a single dice roll, and said about the final chances to get to slot 12:

I won't give the math (pm me if interested), but here is the table showing the chances of cumming at a slot, or moving up without cumming. Note that it does not tell anything about the time you stay in that slot! Could be years, it just tells you the chances of cumming or moving in the end.

3 = P(cum) = 5.71%, P(move) = 94.29%
4 = P(cum) = 9.09%, P(move) = 90.91%
5 = P(cum) = 13.33%, P(move) = 86.67%
6 = P(cum) = 19.23%, P(move) = 80.77%
7 = P(cum) = 28.57%, P(move) = 71.43%
8 = P(cum) = 33.33%, P(move) = 66.67%
9 = P(cum) = 40.00%, P(move) = 60.00%
10 = P(cum) = 50.00%, P(move) = 50.00%
11 = P(cum) = 66.67%, P(move) = 33.33%
12 = P(cum) = 100%, P(move) = 0%

This results in a chance of 2.78% to reach slot 12 without cumming before. (oO this is exactly 1/36.. a coincidence i have no explanation for )
