What's the real deal?

Post by dubble »

Okay, what's the deal with some 'online Dommes' telling subs to join this site? http://bdsm.com/p/main.cgi?dcb=bdsm.com . What are they getting out of it... $money? A $ percentage $ of an approved membership? Higher rank on the site? Is that site for real or is it a scam, or maybe not worth the $? Looks like ALT or any other kinky personals paysite to me. Is anyone from Milovana on there presently or maybe has been in the past? Got any reviews? I'm skeptical. Am I wrong? Why do they exclusively tell you to join that site rather than any other? I'm listening to my gut here & it sounds fishy, :fishing: but hope to hear from someone with proof of something different & positive. I was just chatting with a 'Domme' on Collarme, & 'She' wanted me to join there. Same for the previous 3 Dommes I chatted with. Help me understand, please.

Sorry if there has been a previous thread about this, but I didn't see one. Thanks!

I'm not on there but is it one of the sites with "pay to use" chat/cam rooms - in my experience there's very few genuine people on collar me, there are some and there are a number of true pro dommes but there are also a lot of people just sat there trying to make a quick buck by luring you to a different site where they can charge you, lost count how many invites to chat (usually on yahoo) I've had out of the blue, they all inevitably lead to someone after your cash.

Dubble,
I have been on there for a while and have a free profile. There are multiple chat rooms (some people are very touchy about the rules of each chat room). The chat rooms are free (if I remember right browsing is free) but too actually email someone costs unless they email you first.
I have found www.fetlife.com to be much more preferable to www.bdsm.com, but fetlife does not have an operative chat room last time I checked.
That's my two bits, hope that helps.
Quaz.
