A not-so-hypothetic situation.

I recently was presented a rather unique, and frustrating, choice I needed to make. I don't want to go into all the details, but anyone reading this will be able to get the gist of what I had to deal with. I'm not looking for advice or guidance, as I have already made my choice. What I am curious about is how others would respond to this difficult decision.

We all know how difficult it is to find a partner with similar needs to our own, much less someone that can fulfill them. So imagine, if you will, that you have found this person. They posses every trait you ever wished upon a sexual partner. Their very words are enough to send pleasure through your body. Their every whim is your every desire, and you know all your urges will fulfilled.

Now the problem.

You hate them.

The things they say and do, their feelings about the world and the way things should be. How they treat other people. Mannerisms, habits, beliefs; with every non-sexual action you wish more and more that they had never been born.

So, the decision is "stay or go?" Would you rather suffer the anger for the pleasure, or deny yourself the life of sexual gratification to deny them your devotion?

For me sex is not the center of the world, so I'd send such person to hell and find myself another one. And you are actually mistaken. It's difficult to find a person that can please all your needs from the start. But if we cut off the most hardcore kinks, a lot of people can provide you what you need if you ask them (and if they love you, obviously). So it's not so so hard to find, as you think.
But living with the person whos personality you can't stand - it aint worth no sexual pleasure you might get.

Dump that person and fast.

Sex is only one aspect of relationship. If that person's other nonsexual traits turn you off or make you miserable, its not worth maintaining that relationship.

You're not going to find the perfect person, but at least spend your time with someone who makes you happy.

However, if sex is the only part of this relationship then you might want to consider keeping that person but only if it is for sex.

sometimes people do things that even they don't agree with. perhaps they just want to be seen or heard, or none of the above. i've often found the things that attract me to someone is often that which i despise when making such decisions.

I would not stay with the person, but instead go looking for another that not only can give me the things I need in the sexual area of my life, but be someone that I enjoy spending time with outside of the bedroom. *smile*

If you have very little contact with them in a non-sexual manner, it might be survivable. If you have a lot of contact with them in outside the bedroom (and/or dungeon), the sex better be at least a dozen different kinds of awesome to make up for that.

I agree with Les , your asking means you have already made up your mind to dump that person and your wanting to know what others would do , I think that you want to know if you made the right choice . well if you are now single then you made the right choice. hate will poison you , your better off finding some one else
