my knolage of programming anything otehr than CNC mills is 0 and i am thinking of ways to increase the variability of teases so they arnt the same all the time

to randomise the text on webtease through a script? ie number of strokes has a suprise me button which sets which ius randomised through a generator to give a result.

on a similare vein is it possible to do the same with the metronomes so that it can alter as the page is being viewed. IE stroke for 60 seconds at the rate of the metronome whioch fluctuates every say 20 secodns


and is it possible ro write a feedback script where you cna have soemsort of input into a tease ie was that enough slut? for say a spanking then you can have the option of yes or no. which then alters the next pages of the tease to reflect what you say.

and a beg option where you get a rndomised chance for either mercy or orgasme.

Pretty much anything is possible, but flash has its limitations, and even more so when relating to the framework offered by the Nyx editor, which is as far as I understand designed to support easy creation of web teases, aimed at non-programmers, rather than support a variety of high-tech features in a good way.

Some have gone great lengths to accomplish more advanced stuff (green and nezhul are two worth mention in that regard), and a lot of authors have accomplished great stuff with quite poor tools (no offense to anyone, this is just an observation of flash being a quite limiting programming platform in certain ways)


For my own part I hate flash enough to stay away from it, but I have long pondered making a better CAM type of application using a "better" programming language, for example using QT (C++ based framework for building cross platform applications)

Having a tool, possibly amended by slide shows like we currently have for teases, while yet giving a much more unpredictable and varying experience and challenge would be fun. The downside to such tools is that they quickly become boring to use when you're used to the great story-lines and concepts developed in many teases by great authors here on milovana.

So although teases have their limitations and challenges, it is still very hard to come up with something better.

I know this is off topic and I'm sorry if this comes across as rude (I'm not always the most tactful), but I would just request, darkstar, that before you post a tease please use a proofreader. I found your post quite difficult to read. It's possible that you posted it late or in a hurry, but when you decide to post a tease please get all the help you can.
My native language is English and I even made a few mistakes.

The Best way to do a tease like you want is to Use NYX
I would require choice pages and
There are ways to get a random page to show up
But you have to do some programming.

There is a way to do it in a regular tease
but it does not work as well
Just write directions to page locations
Example:
Roll a Die
1- go to page34 (Which tells you to set your metronome at 30
2 go to page 45 (Which says you should edge)
and so on
but it does not work as smoothly as Nyx

If you have a good tease idea written
I recommend you PM a few tease writers
Who can help you with editing your English
and helping you create a Nyx tease.

I don't know if this will answer you questions, but I'll try addressing some of them.

It is possible to alter the alter the metronome speed within a page. Using a program such as Audacity you can combine different speed metronome clips. In my tease, A Session With RoboMistress 3, http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=8677, there is section where the metronome speed gradually slows down. I achieved this combining clips recorded at different speeds. The limitation is that it will not be random.

The second method to randomly change the metronome speed is to used the random function. You could program four pages with four different metronome speeds and the tease will "choose" a page from those number of pages. I'm assuming the more pages you have programmed into the random function the more "random" it will be. I don't know much about the capabilities of this function but its use has been discussed. http://www.milovana.com/webteases/showflash.php?id=8677

You can give responses using a customized button to give responses. at the moment i am not looking at doinga tease. mainly because my programming is nill. which is why i was asking IF something is possible before i start to try as the ideas i have require it.

Im not too good at nyx scripting, but I would personally work around these things in this way:

I would make a number of different pages, with the same picture but different text (like the amount of strokes instructed changes on each page) Then the 'suprise me' button randomly takes you to one of these pages.

Not sure if you can change to different metronome sounds on the same page. However, you could make an mp3 file where the sound fluctuates, then simply upload the file and set it to play. Or you could have a number of metronome sounds at diiferent speeds, then set the page to change every 20 seconds to a new page that looks the same but has a different tempo of metronome playing.

I think you would need to use the set/unset must/mustnot commands here. I've no idea how to use them but I am pretty sure its possible to do something like this. Search the nyx help threads for more on this... Or look at peoples scripts
