I don't really know what to say other than go for it! Be the guy she chose to get closer to. You know these guys and there might be difficult decisions ahead. But considering what is on the line, you'll handle it :)

I can't say I have the cahones to live this way, but personally I feel it's better to have tried your best rather than to say "what if...?"
