i play secondlife a ton, some good places to look up are "club eden" there are alot of mistresses there and many do tease and denial. also is House of V. No release is an ok place but no one is ever there so its kinda pointless. If you ever need any info look me up at Pietro Abruzzo

Hi everyone!

I'm actually one of the people helping to build No Release on Second Life and we'd appreciate your help. At the moment, as punkrngd said, we're kind of caught in a catch-22 - people arrive, find it's empty and leave; then since they left, it will be empty for the next person, and so on... That's basically stopped it from expanding for a while, and it may be in danger of shutting down because many of the original maintainers have left, even though none of us really want to see that happen. If you have any suggestions as to what you'd like to see in that area, or that might make it more interesting to stay around, please let me know! :) Thanks!

Maybe it would help to explain some more about Second Life. What does it really cost? It seems free to begin, but is that for real? How to begin - it seems very overwhelming?

Second Life accounts are free, but if you want to make a better looking avatar or you want to build your own things permanently, you have to pay money for "linden dollars" (the game currency) or land ownership. There are free things you can get though, and you can earn linden dollars by making things yourself and selling them to others. It's not very expensive - if you want to, you can make a good avatar for a one-time fee and then never spend money again.

Default male avatars on SL don't have penises, but you can get a free teasable one from No Release (*plug*) :)

Is there any kind of guides to learn how to get these things to make your avatar better and how to move and use things in second life. I have tried it but am lost at how to find places and do things like kneel or the like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Click "Search" at the bottom of the screen.
Choose the "Places" tab.
Type "No Release" into the white box.
Make sure that "Include parcels with Mature content" is ticked.
Press "Search".
Click on No Release at the top of the list and choose "Teleport".

First, the animations are goofy to start out with, so you need something to override that. I picked up a nice Animation Override (AO) in a shopping center named BareRose, it's HUGE, and has tons of stuff for you. They also have a staff of assistants to help you shop. They have mens and womens clothing, costumes, accessories, the works. Once you get the AO, find it in your inventory, right click it and select "wear"

For animations like kneeling, you can use an AO, or you can buy a collar or similar device with the animations included, my FAVORITE collar is made by Amethyst, it's a steel posture collar, you just type a command and the animation happens...or if your OWNER types a command, you automatically assume that position.

They also have surprisingly effective restraints in SL...they can't be *truly* escape-proof, but they can be close, they'll inform the person that locked you that you escaped. My favorite restraints in SL are "RealRestraint", they CAN be escaped from (there's a simple, but LONG, game to escape from them). The escape game is even MORE fun, when someone comes by and adjusts the cuffs when you're almost out, leaving you back at square one, the despair that my victims...or myself feel...

*mmm* Fun...

(I don't sell the Real Restraint stuff, but Miss Marine Kelley is a good friend of mine)

Hair, clothing, and such, there are TONS of places...

If you need more help, give me your in-game name, and I'll see what I can do

Yes, all free. But, for free you get a goofy looking character with a goofy actions. You can search for freebies and find HUGE treasure troves of boxes you can "open" and get animations, clothes, shapes...

So, you can even get a decent Avatar for free, but I paid for mine, one piece at a time, and she'll ALWAYS be a work in progress. But compared to the noob I was...it's just mindboggling the difference

jp wrote:I stopped by Barerose to look for that Animation Override, but that store is huge and I just couldn't find it in there.
I'd be of more help if my Avatar wasn't currently handcuffed and locked in an alarmed cell, but the AOs are in the back and to the left (last time I looked). The staff at Barerose would be able to help (I don't think it's expected to tip the staff, but I do)

The Amethyst Collar is ok if you're into that sort of thing, but I find it takes a lot of the thrill out of BDSM. The thrill is telling someone to kneel - or being told to kneel - and doing it yourself with your body because you can't resist, not having a computer program do it for you. I certainly won't use the leash, that lets the sub go and get a cup of coffee while I lead them across the room! :)

(Mind you I'm biased because I tried to make my own collar at one point and no-one noticed :) )
