The background colors for the posts alternate, though. But the dots will be hardly noticeable with the other background, so that shouldn't be a problem.


                    You could test this character instead of a normal space: " ". It looks just like a space but the forum will probably not ignore it at the beginning of a line. Just copy the thing between the "" :)

It's U+2002 in unicode, I don't know if it's in ascii.. who the hell still uses ascii? Utf-8 is the way to go!

I think I tested the no-break space but it didn't work, not sure though. The wikipedia-page has a lot of space-characters to try, the one I gave you was the first that worked in my tests I think.
